Thick padding
Super beefy. I feel very protected by the glove, but it feels as if it's at the cost of some mobility. Working on cars requires having to stuff your hands under the hood every now and then, beefy gloves are a "win some, lose some" situation. But at the end of the day, I got the beefy gloves for protection, and that's exactly what i got.

Good wheelchair gloves
These make fantastic wheelchair gloves. Reasonable grip, padded palms, leather reinforced primary finger. Snug fit. Dry fast when wet if you wear them anyway and let your hands heat them. Just lost them and want the same pair.

FINALLY! OR SO I THOUGHT
I've been looking for 3XL work gloves for years online and at the lumber supply stores. Those 2XLs were hard to find and wore out too soon. These 3XLs are right on time. Rugged and protective. I do wish the vGo came in 3XL or these Ringers had higher profile knuckle and finger protection for the warehouse and repair work that I do.These gloves became essential now that I am on blood thinners. I can't afford a nick or cut but the glove separates from pulling on the glove using the enclosure. There really needs to be a pull tab on the palm side of the glove to prevent the fabric from separating. I just replaced them with some T-Rex gloves from Magid. I hope these do the job.

Great gloves for working with sharps and points, but warm
These are great gloves, have used them for doing some pipe cutting/fence work as well as tree pruning on thorny buggers like Argentinian Mesquites and they've provided great protection against both slices and pokes. The only nitpick is if you are in a hot climate like me these gloves don't breathe well, and the cuff doesn't tighten quite right, but that's being really picky.Would buy again!

Thumb and index touch is gone.
I loved my previous pair of Ringers Impact gloves until the fingertips wore through. I didn't really like the styling of these new ones, but needed some for a camping trip so I went for a straight replacement order. I do not like these gloves. The old gloves offered great protection as well as excellent finger-feel for fine work. Three fingers on these new gloves are stitched in the same wonderful way as my old pair, but the index and thumb are tipped in patches of a different material (I don't think it's capacitive, either--I can use my touchscreen phone more easily with the other fingers) that is sewn with a single stitch around the tip of the finger. It leaves bulges of material out beyond those two finger tips and ruins the fine thumb-and-index dexterity I used to have.I loved my old gloves specifically because I could wear them and still pick up coins or hand-thread a tiny bolt, and I'm bitter that these new gloves are less functional. It looks like the Authentic model may not have the weird finger patches.

Sturdy gloves great for extrication/emergency ops
Great gloves! I use them for extrication. I was looking for a pair of extrication gloves that werenโt as thick and bulky as the ones I was issued and these have been a perfect fit. I was going through standard mechanics gloves every other week because of rips and tears but these have held up nicely so far

Tight at first, but so far so good
Although they are not designed for it, I bought these to use for mountain biking, as they seem to be tougher than most bike gloves. These new ones are made a bit differently than the older ones, and I just got them, so I can't say much about them yet, except that they fit tightly at first, and then loosened up a bit to a comfortable fit. I have 2 pairs of these that I bought a couple of years ago for the same purpose, on a recommendation from a friend. Those first 2 pairs are now failing in several places, but still useable. All in all, I think they are only slightly more durable in the long term than most bike gloves (which is a bit disappointing), but they also do seem to provide better protection for my hands, so I think they are probably worth the price, which is in the same range as most bike gloves.

Poor fit
I've buy Ringer glove in the past and the fit was way better than mechanix. But now.... jeeeeez, the wrist section is way too large, I have to move the velcro hook. And that velcro hook doesn't hold very well... I've buy after 3 week another pair of mechanix and forget about Ringers. I use them mostly for motorcycles.
