I've been looking for a futon for our office for months now , and I was getting frustrated w/the furniture stores. They wanted almost the price of the futon to deliver it and put it together and were waaay over priced. I found this one on Amazon at a great price and free delivery, so I decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did!The futon was easy to put together. I am a 50yr woman and had no problems. It wasn't until I had to put the pieces together that I needed my husband to help me lift one frame onto the other. The mattress came a few days before the frame, but I was already prepared for that thanks to other reviews. It was also delivered a month earlier than scheduled, so that was a nice surprise. We got the queen futon to put in a spare office for when guests visit. Since it is an over-sized mattress, it kinda looks funny or lopsided when in the couch position (the back is much larger than the seat). We left the mattress in the bed position for a few days to let it spring up (and air out), so it was kinda difficult to get it back into the couch position afterwards. I gave it four stars because there aren't any clear instructions on how to shift the bed from sitting to laying down, and we almost broke it trying to figure it out (we've never owned a futon before). We finally discovered you have to take it out of the locked position first and then slowly slide it up or down (duh!). After discovering that little nugget, I can now put it up or down on my own.Overall I think it will work for our 3-4 guests visits per year. I will try to provide an update after someone has actually slept on it. But at this point it was well worth the effort, the price and the wait!

Wow! This is beautiful! I wanted to get rid the twin bed in my sewing room/guest room. I saw this and thought this would be great to sit at watch the tv in my room. It is sooooo pretty. My grand daughter can’t wait to come over and try out the bed function.It does take some time to assemble. I have back issues so I had to do little at a time. You will need two people to lift the frame into the arm rail slots. Very very very pleased! This does arrive in several shipments. I received my cushion about a week ago. Then the drawers and arm rails arrived 2 days ago. I thought they forgot to ship the frame parts so I contacted the seller and they let me know the shipments sometimes get separated shen shopped. Sure enough, the frame arrived last night. It is a little pricey but this is was just the right size and had everything I wanted and isn’t cheap looking.

Frame is well designed and sturdy. Cushion/mattress is pretty comfortable although the construction (tailoring?) could be improved.There was some confusion resulting from the order being marked as "delivered" while we were still waiting on the mattress. The frame comes in two packages and the mattress comes in a third package which arrives about a week later. The issue would have been avoided if it's made clear that there are 3 separate packages and the status does not show "delivered" until all three arrive.

This was fairly easy to assemble, the wood frame is solid and good quality. When fully assembled I found it a bit difficult without two people to convert from the sitting position to a bed and vice versa. I have the Queen size and it’s not really practical for seating; the mattress seems too big.

I love this futon, I don't understand why it's so hard to lift back up from a laying position to a sitting position, but it's still a great futon. Comfortable and love the storage underneath. I do wish the drawers offered more space, but it is what it is.

The zipper is plastic so be very careful when folding into a bed it will come unzipped meaning come of track and not by the part that zips it up they should use metal zipper due to the weight of the mattress also do not order drawers they are for show only and every time you fold out bed drawers come out they are not fixed to the frame they are on rollers and there only good very small item

It looks nice and was easy to put together following the instructions. Have not slept on it yet, as it is for guests. Am waiting to get the drawers, which were paid for in Nov. and are supposed to come this month in February.

This is just what we hoped it would be. We live in an older house with small rooms, and my son wanted more free space in his bedroom. It looks great and seems well-made. We were worried that part of our shipment had gone missing for a couple of days, so be aware that the mattress is made to order and ships separately. Do yourself a big favor and have your handyman assemble it, since the instructions are pretty confusing. Trust me, I've built a lot of furniture... Hire someone.
