Very Relible and good battery life
This beard trimmer does everything you need. I love that all the different lengths you need are all in one attachment and you control the length with the roller situated on the handle. Which makes it very easy to use and minimises the need to keep changing trimmer heads like with other trimmers. One charge easily lasts me upwards of a month so no need to charge all the time. The cut is gentle and has never pulled my hair, the trimmer slides gently and easy. I love that's water proof and can just be washed under the tap it makes it very versatile as you can use it wet if wanted and easy to clean. All in all still a great trimmer and I highly recommend

Versatile and Reliable Trimmer for All Needs
The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the Philips Beard & Stubble Trimmer/Hair Clipper for Men, Series 5000, and I am beyond impressed with its performance. The 40 length settings offer fantastic flexibility, allowing me to achieve the exact look I want, whether I’m going for a clean stubble or a longer beard style. The self-sharpening metal blade ensures every trim is precise and smooth, which is a huge plus. What I love most is its waterproof feature, which means I can use it in the shower—super convenient for quick grooming sessions. It’s also incredibly easy to clean; just rinse it under running water, and it’s good to go. The build quality feels solid, and it’s clear that this trimmer is built to last.If you're looking for a reliable, easy-to-use trimmer with plenty of customization options, this one is definitely worth it. Highly recommended!

Durable, does the job and good value.
I've actually owned this for over 5 years now. It's decent for giving you a stubble, but without the guard it's not great for shaping your beard. You'd need something more precise like an electric razor for this (which I do pair it with). If you're trying to shave under your nose, it's pretty hard to cut the hairs here as the guard is quite large. Other than that, the charge lasts a decent amount of time, it has a good amount of length settings and keeps you looking well groomed. Good for if you want to keep a consistent stubble and aren't that fussy about getting a really high end shaver.

Simply the best.
I've tried all manner of these clippers over the years and now know you can't beat Philips for the best finish, battery times and close trimming.

Reliable as always.
Having used this for a while now I’m happy to write an informed review. As a bit of background; every summer I trim my hair right down, easier to manage in the heat. Plus with what’s going on right now, can’t exactly nip to the barbers. On top (or underneath) of that I’ve got a beard which depending on how much I can be bothered varies in length from 10mm to 30mm.Anyway. Moving on. I’ve used Philips for years. Always found them reliable and long lasting. Especially the battery. Last one wasn’t quite up to scratch, the part that held the comb in place wasn’t quite good enough so that led me on a track to looking for another brand that would suffice for my hair and my beard. But had to be easy enough for me to do my own hair when the Mrs couldn’t be bothered. So I bought the Wahl Aqua. Repackaged and sent back with hours. Utter rubbish. Then bought the same day. By a long way the best trimmer of any kind I’ve ever owned. And I’ve had loads of them. Since leaving the military I don’t shave, I merely trim my beard every three days instead and now my hair as well (without guide comb so 0.4mm).Battery lasts forever. I’ve owned this nearly two months and charged it twice but it gets used two or three times a week for between 15-30 minutes each time. Comes with two combs which is handy if your desired beard length is longer, one does 0.4 to 10mm the other does 10-20mm I think. Loads of increments as well. I use this without the guide comb on my hair and it’s smooth and easy, not too heavy so easy enough if you’re doing your own hair. Waterproof as well which is cool but I wouldn’t use any of them in the shower regardless if their waterproof or not. Not worth it. Just take it as meaning you can clean it under tap. Although from my own experience, stick the head under tap and point the charging port at the bottom upwards and away from the water. Always try to keep the charging port dry.Purely because I see this question asked a hell of a lot-And guys just remember, if a trimmer is good for beards it should deal with head hair no problem. That’s always been my experience anyway. Facial hair tends to be thicker than head hair so don’t worry if it doesn’t mention hair trimmer in the description. The only thing being, depending on how you cut you hair, is the attachments it comes with. But that’s all subjective.Anyway. Recap. Superb trimmer, 5 star, amazing battery, Rapid charging, decent attachments, very well made, waterproof (DONT USE IN THE SHOWER THOUGH!!! Just clean under the tap), does hair and beard.Team it up with either the Philips mini trimmer or the mini foil trimmer and that’ll take care of the edges of your beard as well. Although I often use a safety razor instead but I do own all of the above. Depends on the scenario to be honest.Guys. Take it from me. This is a winner. And yes, I paid full price for this, not a vine review or discounted etc.
