Good fit for 2019 Colorado Ext Cab.
Easy 2 hr. one man install, great fit on 2019 Colorado ext cab. Great value for the money. Looks good, seems sturdy.

Great product and great customer service
Received the item in a damaged shipping box. Upon inspection the shipment was all good but missing essential clip nuts. Contacted TAC by email to see if they could ship out a set of the clip nuts so that I would not have to return the entire shipment. TAC responded that same day by email and shipped out the missing hardware by FedEx. Great customer service! The installation of the side steps was painless, and the finished product looks great. The side steps are installed on a new 2024 Chevy Colorado Z71.

These are nice looking, easy to install, and sturdy, but the brackets hang down pretty far.
I added these to a 2018 Colorado LT 4x4. The instructions were good, both written and photos/illustrations. The installation was easy (because I read the instructions over first). I didn't time the work, but I would say it took less than a couple easy hours by myself. You can do it by yourself if you're careful, because the bar will sit on the brackets. Just don't slide them around and scratch them, make sure they're resting on the bar's threaded gold part. The clip-nuts are actual welded nuts rather than the stamped-out ones you see with other brands. Most of the hardware was top quality and could be nearly tightened with the fingers; only one bolt had burred threads and took a light wrench to get started, and then it was fine. They look great, seem very sturdy, and don't rattle. They've made getting into the truck a lot easier for shorter folks and my dog, and I haven't banged my ankle on them yet when I step over them. I like the way they match the truck and the ends are truly sealed and tucked in.My only problem, or concern, is the depth of the brackets. They're thick steel (in the vertical dimension), and they go down pretty far and then curve up to the bars. I think they are about 3 inches lower than the bars are in the photographs. Many other styles have brackets that only protrude a half inch, inch, or even not at all below the bars. And since the brackets are thin in the horizontal dimension--the direction of travel--if you bottom out they're going to break and possibly hurt your truck body, as they bolt to the body. The back bracket is about the middle of the truck, too.I still have more ground clearance than most other on-road vehicles. I intend to keep them because 1. returns are a hassle; 2. the bars and brackets are fully behind the tires, so they're not going to catch things off to the side; 2. I measured them and they are actually a half-inch higher than drain plug on the transfer case, which is the lowest point closest to the center of the wheelbase. So, come to find out, I really haven't lost any ground clearance; this has just made me more aware of it.As mentioned, this is an LT 4x4, so I don't have the skidplates and such for off-roading, and I don't have the cash, time, or inclination to deliberately ravage my truck. If you have a Z71 or ZR2 with the skidplates and all, and you really intend to go places where you might bottom-out, you need a different set of steps--probably a whole other category of them.

Makes the truck look good!
Took less than an hour to install with a half dozen tools. They came well packed and the instructions were spot on with all the parts fitting like a glove. Did I mention that they make the truck look good! If you take your time and follow the instructions these are a great way to dress up your truck. Quality product - well built. Hats off to TAC!

So far so good
Bought these to add on to my new Chevy Colorado, were easy to install and only took me about an hour to get everything on. Was able to do the whole install my self with no issue. So far they are very sturdy and no my wife can easily get in to the truck :) and I haven't banged my shins on them yet.The only downside I had is that I misplaced one of the "clip bolts" that attach to the body I eventually found it so in the long run no issue. That said when I couldn't find it I tried contacting the manufacturer twice via phone got voicemail both times. As I write this it is 2 weeks after my calls and still have not heard from them.

Excellent running boards for the price!
These running boards are everything you're looking for when you need to add some steps to your Colorado/Canyon. The installation process was VERY straight forward and took all of 30 minutes or so of actual work. As with other reviews: The brackets hang down LOW and the step is lower than most others. You are going to lose ground clearance when you install these steps but they will definitely give your shorter friends and family members a much needed step into the truck. The steps themselves are tough. Covered in some pretty nice liner material as well as the brackets. The rubberized step tops are nice and grippy as well (see photos). Lastly; echoing other reviews once again; I wish there were 4 brackets instead of 3 for some added stability and toughness, but 3 brackets will be more than enough for the time being.
