Relaxing Nature DVD - Bird Safari - Tropical Birds and Wildlife Scenery with Relaxing Music or Nature Sounds

Wow! I just finished watching this Tropical Bird Safari video and it’s absolutely gorgeous! First off, I love nature videos and I own a lot of them. I usually like to hear the nature sounds rather than any kind of music, but this video is an exception. It has the most soothing guitar music I’ve heard and fits perfectly with the content of the video. I’ve played it twice in a row now and I have to say, of the many nature videos I own, this has immediately gone up to being one of my favorites. I’m sure it lowered my blood pressure and I know it calmed me immensely.It’s filmed in a national park in India – the DVD cover says this park has 370 species of birds. I don’t know the names of many of them but I can appreciate their beauty. Some of the birds are in beautiful close-up views. The next major feature for me is the variety of animals wandering leisurely around the park. Even the monkeys, which have never been my favorite animals are so calm, just walking down the paths and mixing in with all the other animals and birds is a real treat to see. All of these creatures are so peaceful and majestic, it’s just a tranquil feeling that I got. Watching the birds fly with the clouds and orange sky in the background gave me a feeling of absolute freedom – as if I were soaring right along with them. The scenery itself is stunning – this whole video transports you away from the chaos of the world to a special place of peace and serenity.Great job, and keep up the good work! I know the company produces walking and cycling videos which are really good too because I have some of them, but nature videos will always be my first choice. Everyone needs that place of serenity once in a while and these nature videos provide that. Definitely 5 stars!!

Boring!! Like watching paint dry. Camera stays fixed on stagnant scenes way too long!!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the use of this DVD, after obtaining the appropriate permissions and licensing, in all medical offices! It should be used in ALL waiting areas for that matter, instead of loud televisions...In medical offices, I would expect the use of this to allay fears and anxieties as well as lower patients' blood pressures. The scenes are that calming...This DVD consists of a 30 minute "movie", 5 pond scenes and a segment of "soothing scenes". The movie takes place from sunrise to sunset and features grazing deer, monkeys ,colorful birds, waterfowl and sleepy eyed owls, to name a few. The music is very relaxing. Other than a few birds fishing, there are no predator/prey interactions to disrupt the serenity. As usual, Tony's stunning cinematography doesn't disappoint.There are 5 pond scenes that replicate looking out a window or relaxing on a bench by the shore. The camera is stationary and you are simply watching and relaxing...ducks, geese, a few grazing animals..the sounds of nature prevail here and all is right with the world. In the final segment, the soothing scenes are just that...soothing...as the day comes to a close, the sun sets....absolutely beautiful.Pick and choose what you view or play all in a continuous loop. No matter how you view it, it is fantastic!

Very relaxing and realistic. So much so my cat goes all around the tv trying to get to the birds!!!
