I ended up buying three of these — one for me and two for my husband. He needed a new one because his first one snapped right in half (yep!). I wasn't there when it happened, so I'm not sure if it was just him brushing his hair too hard or what. However, for the price, I didn't think anything of just buying a new one. These work so well on my edges. If you have thin edges, just be gentle because this brush can hurt if you're too harsh. It lays my edges like no other!

This little brush keeps all my little fly away controlled (I still use it with a pomade product). The bristles are hard but that’s exactly what I need for my thick curly hair. The price was great for a durable brush. Very happy with this brush.

Best brush for long thick beards. Beats the specialized expensive ones.

Love this brush for my slicked back hair styles! It did break a little after a year of use, but it is still usable.

I do think I like this brush the bristles are pretty hard though. It does kind of knock out your hair as you’re brushing through but if you have a really thick course hair, I wouldn’t recommend this for you. I have pretty thin curly hair. It works OK for me, I still use it for the price range. I think it’s pretty good. but again I wouldn’t recommend for thick hair.

This brush makes getting all the bumps out of a slicked back hairstyle easier.

not for my hair type. my hair curly 3c 4a with fine strands. i purchased for laying my edges for buns. the bristles are very very rough and very stiff. i won't say it is a bad brush but it is not for my hair texture. it would definitely tear my edges out. The brush looks durable and is of good quality. goody makes great products. I did not even remove it from the packaging. looks exactly like the picture. does not feel like boar hair however. feels like synthetic fibers. i will donate.
