Never Again :(
I ordered 4 of these & each one came in a separate box... It took me an HOUR to open them & shred the sticky-backed bubble wrap they were wrapped in- and 2 of the 4 were bent anyway. I don't know what genius algorithm chose the packaging but this is the first Amazon product I've bought where I was WISHING for a "request for packaging review"- it was completely absurd as they EASILY would have all fit in the same box with room to spare.I bought these because they were less expensive than the Texas Tomato Cages I usually use, & I should have just splurged on the TTC's again. These are about half the gauge of those cages & because they're left uncrimped on the last corner, they're a little awkward to use. They're tall enough for my Romas but for most indeterminate tomatoes they won't be tall enough. I had to stick the legs into the dirt all the way to the bottom "rung", so that one won't be helping to hold anything up. They're significantly wobblier than my Texas Cages because of the way they fold & will require pliers to close those final crimps- 5 of them on each unit, which I find to be just another p.i.t.a. for a mediocre product. These are bigger than the little round cone-shaped cages so they'll certainly work better than those, but at $25 apiece compared to the $28 I would have paid for the Texas ones, I'm totally kicking myself. But those only come in sets of 6 & I only needed 4. Still, just save up & order the Texas Tomato Cages if you're serious about your tomato growing.

Sturdy and large
These are larger than I expected but will work fine as tomato cages, which is why I bought them. Best use is with plants in the ground--would be difficult to manage these around a potted tomato or pepper. Wire is sturdy gauge (about 5 AWG) and frame folds up for storage. Not too heavy to move around. Bottom has four extensions to sink into the ground and it's pretty stable...but you can always add stays to prevent a strong wind frrom being a concern. Openings in the sides are large, and it won't be a problem to route branches through and secure them. To assemble, you just unfold cage and clip the hooks on one side to the riser on the other. Hooks can then be bent closed if you want, with pliers.

Sturdy support
Tomato cage is its intended purpose and I put it to work right away. I really like its sturdiness and the ability to fold it flat when not in use. Great product.

These keep working when the other tomato cages collapse
Three seasons in and these guys just keep my tomato plants supported. All of the other I have purchase have collapsed under the weight of the plants. Well worth the money

This cage is great in the garden
This cage is great in the garden. You can use it closed as pictured in the listing or unhook it and open it up and use it as a flat trellis. I used garden twist ties and this trellis to help train my cucumbers this summer and it worked great. i've put it in storage for the winter months, and look forward to bringing it out in the summer for my tomatoes.

Large and heavy duty I used these for my cucumber plants with great success. The only negative is that the wire is very heavy duty and is not real flexible.

Not as heavy duty as I would have liked.
Arrived in separate packages even though they would have fit in one together. Both had bent legs, one the top is bent as well. Not as heavy duty as I would have liked.

Heavy duty and wonderful. Will last forever
These are some of the best tomato cages. They are sturdy and collapse down nicely when not in use. In reference to what the last reviewer wrote all you have to do is get a pair of pliers and crimp in the connector so it "locks". My local nursery carries these and they cost over twice as much.
