Diamond Grinding Wheel Dresser Works on 6 inch or 8 inch

I paid $5 (as I recall) for this and was impressed how it squared and cleaned my bench grinder wheels.

Item arrived quickly and was exactly as depicted. It produced a nice clean, flat, better than new surface on 2 of my 6" grinding wheels and helped salvage several small size dremel grinding bits. This tool cuts very quickly. The key to the tool's longevity and accurate truing appears to be applying extremely light pressure to the wheel that you're attempting to true and moving the tool laterally across the surface. I lost quite a bit of the diamond grit during the process but the tool is still usable. I expect to be able to use it several more times before it becomes non-functional. Would I recommend it..... yes, but it's not something that will last through too many truing cycles.

Steady operation and sharpen perfectly

It was a surprised. It worked! It works in seconds. Dust flies, sharpening wheel edges, removing aluminum. Done in less then 60 seconds. Buy two, in case on has legs. A must Have!

The diamond grinding wheel dresser from Peachtree has been a good investment. I had serious doubts about how long it would hold up but after using it for several months I am now sure that it will far outlast the two white wheels on my 8 inch low speed grinder and probably a couple more. You have to treat it right and not abuse it and it will do the job and do it well.

The dresser is not even. It makes grooves worse than they were to start with. I don’t recommend.
