Pneumatic Syringe for Auto Transmissions Oil Changer Pump for Car Gearbox 1.2 Liter

This is a good quality product and does the job well. The quick coupler male plug is the right one ( not the one shown in picture) so I think the company changed it to the right one ( no need to replace it). I installed a air pressure regulator and I think it is a must since ( IMO, air pressure higher than 15psi is too high). I removed the hose in the middle and remove the white sealant that they applied to it and clean it off and then reinstalled it. ( sealant + AFT = contaminated ATF => bad results). Overall it is a great product to have in order to pump ATF or Gear Oil easily .

The injector workd as stated. However, refilling a 6L50 Hydra-matic transmission on the 3rd loading with a pint of ATF to go the fill hose blew off the container and covered my shop floor. Make sure and DOUBLE clamp the the hose to the barbed fitting outlet BEFORE using for the first time! I think I may go to an air compressor regulator and maybe only use 15-20 lbs. the next time. Otherwise it works great.

Still waiting on refund. The pump looked great but I returned it some time ago so I can’t judge it at this time wrong eqt. For job I bought it for.

Oil feed hose dosent gold well with pressure causing it to pop out and leak all ur expensive atf fluid attavk a clamp to it to make it better thats what i did also It’s unstable and shaky so make sure you have a good grip on it because it will fall

Everything worked as advertised. Only thing I could see to improve would be a s hook for hanging it, a nut on the end of the reservoir to remove, and offer an optional larger capacity reservoir. However, those are minor and just suggestions more than anything. I operated it at about 15 psi, which allowed for a controlled transfer. I couldn't imagine running this at anything more than 30 psi or so, as the fluid would transfer to fast.

I would have given this a 5 star at first, but I wanted to use it throughly before doing so. This unit was used in a professional auto repair shop for around 5 months. I used it at least ten times as well as many of my techs. We probably got around 50 uses out of it. When I opened the box it came it, it looked super janky. However, I never judge a book by it's cover and I decided to use it and see. The Good: • Fittings were all good, no leaks. • The hoses it comes with are excellent - silicone hose A+. • Fluid fill quickly and efficient. • See though / transparent reservoir a plus..... kind of..... The Bad: • The hanger sucks. Like Suck-SUCKS. Sucks as in, it was as if they went to Lowes and said, 'What is the cheapest and worst selling handle you have? Ok thanks, I'll take that one then'. You can not hang the thing anywhere with the handle it comes with. We use 50lb 'S' hooks all the time for stuff like this and those didn't even work with it. The center of gravity changes with fluid in it. It's a D handle it never stayed straight, swings all over the place. I almost lost it a few times. Not only that, attach the air hose and you'll really start having some fun. *** Note to buyers: Make sure you're shooting video because with an air hose attached, it now just became a "water bottle flipping" challenge. But you're not flipping a water bottle, your flipping 1.5L of gear oil incased in a air pressurized shrapnel of death. You might get some good videos of people dropping it, but if serious injury or a death does occur, you will not be able to post it on You Tube. However you might have just recorded some really good evidence in a class action lawsuit claim. So actually... make sure you shoot video every time you use it - if you plan buy this and use it like it ws intended..... Just read the next bad item..... • This brings me to my next point, WHAT EVER YOU DO - ABSOLUTELY DO NOT DROP IT! The reservoir is VERY poor choice of plastic. I personally was always careful with this unit. But even I had problem. I couldn't even blame my techsfor what is about to occur next. (keep reading) Since my techs dropped it a few times it then became an atom bomb with a activated fuse. The plastic reservoir is extremely hard plastic, which is great, but it is not impervious to damage. After you use it, the reservoir is very hard to remove. This is what makes it easy to drop as well. After it was dropped 2-3 times it formed some micro cracks that nobody saw. Combined with the air pressure (not high pressure either maybe 10-15psi) this thing all of a sudden exploded plastic and gear oil. It was like a oil filled pipe bomb blew up all over my shop. Plastic and gear oil everywhere in a 20ft radius. This happened under my $60k Hunter Hawkeye in ground alignment rack. Luckily nobody died or were seriously injured. I will be filing a claim for this unit and I will highly advise Amazon to remove this product from their website.

One problem with it is its top heavy and doesn't stay standing up on its own with air hose attached. it should be made wider and lower profile, wide and low so it will stay in upright position. other wise works well. It only takes a few lbs of air pressure to pump out the oil, so set your air regulator to like 5 or 10 lbs and don’t over pressurize it. It works great !!

I haven't used this yet but it's such a simple design that I have no doubt that it will work. In fact, I was about to make a similar device but finding the right container was a bit of a problem so I searched and found this and saved myself the time it would have taken to make one. The housing looks like (and it may actually be) a housing for a whole house water filter. If so, that's fine because thick clear plastic is the best choice for this device. But it comes with a odd air fitting. I have no idea what country uses the fitting that comes with the pump (maybe China?). You'll just have to get a standard 1/4" fitting available at any hardware store or even stores like Harbor Freight. Luckily, I have a whole drawer of the fittings so that was no problem for me but some people may be irritated by this error and I'm surprised that the seller is including a fitting that isn't used in the U.S. I've never even seen such a fitting. That's the only reason I knocked 1 star off my rating. Also, as another reviewer did, you may have to get a smaller outlet fitting and hose if the one that comes with this is too large for your application. Again, that's no big deal. Just go to any hardware store, pick a length of hose of the size you want and get a fitting to fit. Just for reference, the hose that comes with this pump is 1/2" O.D.
