4’’*5m PVC Round Ducting Aluminium Flexible Fan Ducting 100mm Diameter Ventilation Hose for Extractor Fans/Hydroponics etc, White

The quality of this ducting is greatly superior to that provided in the original ducting kit we used. Also it’s greater length made installation less tricky than the original ducting, allowing for more ‘give’, less strain on the tube.

So purchased this to stick onto the end of existing air conditioner outlet hose using a cable tie. The hose is insulated so is a little tougher than a regular uninsulated one and also meant the hose didn't get as hot. Absolutely no qualms with this hose at all, its well made and recommended for use.

This is a slightly tricky review because I am using the ducting with an air conditioning unit and strictly speaking it is far too long for the unit and the wrong type of ducting. The construction seems robust and although it gets very hot and a lot of that heat ends up back in the house, the heat retention does seem better than other hoses I have used - and I previously mentioned, air conditioning units should have much shorter ducting of this type.

Value for the money, prompt delivery very useful for extension for portable a/c.

Good tough product, resistant to damage when fitting. However once fitted it created a whistling noise. Not sure if it’s just being used in the wrong application, it was onto a high output extractor

As per above, I usually wait a few days to write a review but this deserves an instant 5 star! Why you ask? I bought a portable ac unit which came with an uninsulated tube. When clipped on you could feel an immense amount of heat coming off the pipe almost as if the air was just rushing out. Just installed this insulated pipework and straight away you cannot feel any heat coming off the unit. You can feel the pipe is warm to the touch but nothing like before. As a result my ac is now working much more efficiently (we have it mounted through the wall not a window). I feel like I'm actually not wasting as much energy now! Great purchase, and if you are buying for the same reason please don't hesitate, it makes a HUGE difference to have an insulated pipe.

I bought this for an air con unit for my house - its perfect. Deflects lots of the heat from the unit too. Its well made and I'm happy

It’s a good product - well packaged and swiftly delivered. Just to put the whole size issue to rest. The INSIDE diameter is 150mm, so it fits neatly over the top of any rigid vent trunk or spigot. Yes, that means the OUTSIDE is 160mm, but it’s triple layered so what do you expect? As such it was exactly what I expected and what I wanted - I’ve fitted as exhaust for aircon unit and it works v well.
