This unit was easy to start using. No directions or youtube vids needed. it opens right up after you secure it you are ready to go. Less than 5 minutes to setup. fits perfectly in the bed of my truck. The added hooks made it feel safe to use and not like it was going to slip. I was skeptical at first but this thing is solid and stable. This was the most affordable unit I could find. Its heavy, but not to heavy that I could not move it myself. I have never actually picked it all the way up. I always lean and slide it to move it.Now the not so good... You will need to use some gloves to use this thing unless your hands are hard as rock. My lovely little hands got cut up pretty badly from using this.

First a comment about the seller - when the ramp arrived it was dented at the bottom and top, so they sent me another one no questions asked. Wow. Great customer service. As for the ramp, it works very well with small-tired equipment - the kind that gets stuck on the "ladder-type" ramps. It's also long enough that the angle getting into the bed of the truck is easy to manage. At over 6 feet long, it's a bit unwieldy and isn't that easy to carry (a strap handle on the side would be nice), but is a great ramp. Highly recommend.

I ordered this to use as a ramp into a storage shed for loading walk behind lawn mower, snow blower, etc... My mistake, I ordered too large and the ramp is too wide for the door opening; however, it worked out in the end, as I was able to pull the pins on one section and make it only 2 sections wide, which worked perfectly for the shed I needed to drive snow blower and lawn mower into. I used the single section I removed as a walk-up ramp for another shed that I don't drive any equipment into. It was very easy to separate the sections, so if you only need a single wide ramp, you can pull them apart easily. The ramp seems to be well built; however, I don't know if I would trust the advertised load capacity of 1500 pounds. When I put it up on the tailgate of my pick up and walked up it, it flexed more than I expected it to under my 200 pound weight. I didn't have any fear that it was going to buckle under my weight; however, I'm not sure I would try to walk my fully dressed Vulcan 1500 up it. Maybe it would hold up to more weight that is evenly distributed across a larger area of the ramp. My guess is that manufacturers base these weight capacities on evenly distributed weight over a large area, and not based on placing 1500 pounds in the center of it. All in all, I am happy with the purchase. It arrived within a couple days, and it works for the purpose that I intended.

Two-fold purchase. For one, Ibought to use mainly with our 7' X 14' (interior) 'Big Tex' Low Profile dump trailer to be able to shuffle wheelbarrow loads into this trailer. Secondly, & more pressing, I needed a way to get the 2020 Can Am Ryker Rally into this trailer after I purchased the Ryker in Topeka Kansas. Coupled with the fact I can easily adjust the back of this trailer's height by using the hydraulic dump feature, the Ryker easily loaded into the trailer along with this rampI should mention the Big Tex trailer came standard with a pair of heavy duty ramps yet these ramps are built/meant to load heavy equipment like a skid loader. The tri-fold ramp I'm reviewing here is wide enough to drive the three wheeled trike up and down with ease, something impossible to do with two single wheel width rampsI'm sure I'll find other uses for thus ramp such as loading items into the back of my F-150 and F-250 Ford pick em up trucks
