S&B Curry Powder, Oriental, 3 oz (85 g)

This is a great JAPANESE (NOT Chinese!!!) spice mix, with a hint of curry. Super multipurpose. You basically need a tin of this in your spice rack/cupboard, whatever... Again: it's NOT Chinese! Nothing against Chinese cuisine, just there are a lot of Amazon "users" incorrectly claiming that it's Chinese.

Excellent product. Nice find if looking for fodmap. Expensive, but quality.

If you like Japanese style curry, buy this. It’s not for Indian type curry, Chinese type curry, or Thai type curry. It’s for Jamanese curries and it’s blooming lov3ly!

I really like this, it's got the flavour with a bit of heat. And no garlic, wife is allergic to garlic. It is a bit pricey for the size of the tin, but not too bad because it's got a good punchy flavour so it goes further. And when you've added it with a few other spices it does go quite a bit further than you think. I bought a couple of tins and will definitely be buying more.

It says pack of six but i only got sent one. Then I complained online but the form says that I cannot return it….i don’t want to return I just want the missing 5 cans

I grew up eating this brand of curry. My Korean family always used the cubes, which are quick, easy, delicious, but made with wheat flour. 30 years later, my family went gluten free, so I had to find some sort of alternative. I tried lots of different curry powders, but they just aren't as tasty to me. I stumbled across just this product, just the spices. I was so excited and quickly ordered it. I add butter and gluten free flour to create a roux for the curry, before adding the curry powder and liquid. It was perfect and a taste from the past. One of my favorite things about S&B is the subtle heat. I'm not a spice person, and you can taste some warmth, but I wouldn't call it spicy. The spices tasted fresh,and my kids gobbled it up. So happy to have found this. We're on our 3rd container.

While this is the product I wanted, the description said it was a 6 pack. It is not, it is a package of 1. Deceptive.

The best curry in my opinion. I used it to mark Chicken curry. It’s tasty and easy to make.
