Great pump!!
The pump performed beautifully. Put it in the water with a rope on the handle turned it on and let it run it pumped dirty water without an issue. Did its job and performedbeyond my expectations. If your looking for a strong reliable pump you just found it!!!!

sturdy and works great.
I had an above ground pool, 4 feet deep that I needed to empty. I hooked this up and drained the pool in just a few hours. Worked great.

Did what I needed
I had some excavation done in my basement for a new bathroom. While waiting for the work to be completed I had water gathering in the area. I was able to occasionally use this to get the water up and out of the basement and out the side door for the few months while I waiting on the work to be completed. It handled the occasionally muddy water and small rock without any problems and pushed the water up and out of the basement through a garden hose. I never left it installed into a traditional sump pump configuration, but it definitely worked for my use case.I later used it to move water up and out of our lake to our garden (~20' vertical lift) again through a garden hose. It's again working for occasional waterings (once per week). The float can be a bit annoying. I've needed sometimes to forcibly move the float up/down by hand to get it to re-engage. However, for my purpose it hasn't been a real problem, just an annoyance.

Works great
Pump worked great. Used it to pump a 500 gallon septic tank. Took about 2 hours.

Housing Broken - Wish I could give negative stars
Look for OTHER options. Ordered to use in an emergency due to any flooding at home. Box was in perfect shape so never thought to ever open to check the actual pump. Had to use one morning at 2am, to my surprise when opening the housing was cracked and wouldn't actually pump any water out of the hose. Luckily, with a whole roll of duct tape later I was able to at least get some water moving. To top it off, I was just a couple weeks outside the return window!

Good value in a pump
I use this pump too drain water from a low spot in my backyard. Does a good job, and pumps a lot of gallons per minute. Works flawlessly. Only negative comment is that with the tethered float, the pump does not turn on until the whole unit is underwater. Would like it to engage a little sooner.
