These are very good on icy surfaces, we've bought them more than once over the years -- but they don't last forever, the cord part breaks - their average is a few uses - so for durability it would be 1 star, for doing the job they are meant to do 5 stars.

Item really easy to wear over shoes, takes only seconds to put on/off. Grip very good, I also have the same for my car (by Michelin). It is perfect on higher than 10mm snow, where it really helps, but on shallower snow it is not uncomfortable as the material is somewhat elastic. It's like a rope coated in plastic, so it's not hard like a metal chain. I totally recommend it, it works just great and so easy to apply/remove, so you can do it even whilst walking if hitting a clear patch or without the shoes on. All you do when the season is over is to wash them in water and let them dry. They come with their own plastic case with zip and hook to hang it, the size of a top half A4 sheet and 70mm high.Vendor super. I ask him a question via email and he contacted me straight away with an answer and very proactive attitude. They arrived in a very professional packaging in only two days and not 3-5 as per order details. Very positively impressed; will definitively buy from them again.

First chance to use these was yesterday, walking to nearest supermarket. When I bought them I didn't mind spending over £20 as I was sure they would be the answer to safe walking on packed snow and icy paths. I work in a hospital & not turning up for work due to bad weather is not an option, so I was looking for something that would help to give good grip in bad conditions.They are very difficult to get on but they do stay in place once fitted. They did not give the traction that I was expecting, they did not grip well on icy paths. I did not feel at all confident that I would stay upright! Other people with different types of grips were walking quite confidently. I had to remove them when I got to the supermarket car park, they came off easily enough but getting them back on again for the walk home was a real struggle.They are not worth the money, as no better than cheaper options.I am now considering buying ICEtrekkers Diamond Grip - Ice Grips. They are very expensive but going on the customer reviews they do seem to work, can be kept on whilst on the non icy parts of walks and are not too difficult to get on and off.

Originally put a review on here saying product had come to house where a card had been dropped through door but Royal Mail saying no one in. I was in the house but did not hear door or my dog barked. Product has been delivered and today and very happy with it. I have had these quite a few times over the years

Have used these in Iceland seemed to grip very well in most conditions except for tiled surfaces where I suspect anything would fail to grip. Nice not to have to take on and off when going into shops etc.

These shoes are the best type for the ice. They grip well, and also you dont have to take them off before entering your home. They dont damage the carpets or wooden flooring. I feel really safe in them
