Hi - thanks for your question. No, you do not need to keep the moon bottle in the fridge for the contents to stay cold. As long as the liquid you put into the bottle is chilled beforehand, the bottle will keep it the same temperature for up to 24-hours. If you choose to put tap water in the bottle and want it chilled, then you can either add ice-cubes or put the bottle into the fridge, but with the lid off. I hope this helps - Lynette

Q: Is the mouth of the bottle wide enough to get tea bags in and out?

It would be a bit hard to fish the tea bag out although you could try using the ones on a string. i would make the tea in a separate jug then pour the tea in

Hi, thanks for your question. Unfortunately the Moon Bottle (like any other stainless steel water bottle of this kind) is not dishwasher safe. This is because the dishwasher can reduce the life of your bottle by breaking down the double wall which keeps your liquid insulated. It is best to rinse your bottle out with hot, soapy water after each use or clean it using a baking soda/water paste (and perhaps a little vinegar) to prolong the life of your bottle.
