Soapstone incense burnerš„¢
The media could not be loaded. What's not to like about this soapstone instant burner...As you can see how beautiful it looks and was packed very well in shipping. I am using it to make my home smell better and it also is relaxing to watch at night when everything is quiet. I also noticed some others saying it was messy with the ash cleaning it up but I personally don't think it's that bad. I use a small aluminum can from some vegetables that are open took the label off and that works for the ash you need to empty into it. The size and quality or just right. The value of cost seems a bit high so a discount would be nice added to it is a suggestion but overall am happy with my purchase.

Love the look of this one!
I really love the look of this incense stick holder. I read reviews of the ashes being messy due to the included cube insert so I chose to use an incense thimble (sold separately) inside the base instead. It does help limit the ashy mess a little more since it allows the ashes to fall inside the small square base instead, but it does still collect along the base edge as well so it doesnāt fully eliminate the mess problem. Nonetheless, itās tolerable to me and worth it for the beautiful look of the holder itself. Just make sure to avoid lifting the cover until youāre near a trash bin.The cover does get warm to the touch when burning a stick inside but I donāt tend to move it right away during or after use either. I recommend caution when handling.I tried using 11ā sticks in this and they were a little long for the cover, but a quick trim of the bottom of the stick solved that dilemma. The color is beautiful as well and matches my decor nicely. Itās a nice combo of grayish-beige. It also has a decent weight to it without being overly heavy and itās stable sitting on a shelf or tabletop. Iām very happy with this purchase and feel itās a fair price for the quality.

Beautiful soapstone incense burner.
PROS:* Beautiful. That's it. It's beautiful.* Functional. The carvings allow the smoke and aroma to wander.CONS:* Messy. This is a function of where the incense are placed and in what orientation, so it isn't a direct criticism of the product. When cleaning the unit after having lit 1 or 5 sticks, a mess of ash falls out as you lift the cover. That's virtually unavoidable with any incense holder with sticks pointed upwards. My only suggestion would be raising the containment walls of the rotatble incense base to at least catch the ash so that it could be easily emptied or vacuumed.USE:I burn incense when I have company and when I am cooking. It provides a soothing experience. This product is noticed by everyone. Because the smoke does rise, you can see an accumulation of resin appearing along the top carving/vents. I know I can clean it, but I kind of like the worn in look. I wish there was a substantially larger version of this with higher retaining walls - I'd buy it in a jiffy to make this a centerpiece item.

durable
The media could not be loaded. like I believe a lot of the other reviews said that it was messy and indeed it is I have it in my backyard and the bottom of it sits underneath my windowsill. It has been out here for at least three months. We have had bad weather and it has not broken and seems to be very durable, my daughter came to my house and could smell a faint of incense burning in my backyard and she said it smelled good so even though itās a little messy, I think itās perfect burner for outside or if you had a big pottery tray that you could set it on inside, it would probably work as well, but the ashes do collect at the bottom. I love it and would purchase it again

Mix feelings
This is a difficult one to review.... let's start with the Cons!1. Marble is one stone and soapstone is a very different stone. There is no such thing as Marble soapstone. That detail there is misleading information on the seller's part, and is why I stopped myself from buying this piece last year.It came out over 12 bucks cheaper so I got it.2. There is no space for the fallen ashes to go. Once done, be prepared for a mess because it is better to only burn 1 incense at a time and not 5. The problem with this is if, like me, you wanted to place it in an open big room, 1 incense at a time won't do much. Otherwise, the solution is to place it on top of another piece that will serve as a tray for when you pull up the top for cleaning and refilling.3. This is not 1 piece of stone nicely carved. But this con is not even fair because, at 18 bucks or even 30 (at the normal tag), you should not expect to get a sculpture or handmade product properly made.It is more like a puzzle, with over 20 small pieces glued together, giving it a normal expected and unavoidable variation of colors and textures; if you amplify all images of this product, it is very easy to see. But in my opinion, I prefer this to overpriced factory-made with cheap quality materials.Pros:1. Whichever candle or type of incense you place inside you will have a size option for it. The small block or base has a different option on each side. Some reviewers complained about incense sticks not fitting inside, is as simple as cutting the base of your incense stick, not complicated š2. Arrives fast and very well protected.3. In my opinion for it to be so many pieces glued together, they did a heck of a good job. No signs or traces of glue.Overall, it is nice looking, and it serves a purpose. I wouldn't give it as a gift, but in my home, I have plenty of different unconventional items, and this one fits in nicely.
