CHAUVET DJ(SlimPar Q12 BT)

Great value for the money and well worth the purchase price. Not extraordinarily bright, but that is not unexpected. Two sets will light up a decent size stage in the dark, but will not give you the same results as four Colordash or Colorado par LED. Again you are paying less than the cost of one of those units for each of these. Very easy to use and work well with the foot switch, the included IR6 remote or the free Bluetooth app. If you have the need to provide simple lighting for a small to medium size event a couple of these will meet the requirement.

Good build quality, feels very solid. Lights are bright and BT is good - I whish Chauvet could add more functions to the BTAir (i.e. ability to sync multiple fixtures in a sound mode), but still easy to control w/o investing into DMX. Using as a backlight for my son's DJ facade, very pleased with the effect.

The light itself is a good product, bright. Works fine out of the box. The app is clumsy. It takes some time to get used to it, and there is room for improvement, but once you get used to it it’s easy to program some nice presets in your phone.

Compact, light, bright! I am very pleased. I wish I could afford to get another set for the other side.

The media could not be loaded.  Love the product, will definitely get more from Chauvet in the future! They really don’t need a DMX controller which is amazing. Can be managed with an IRC-6 controller, Bluetooth with the app or with the menu in the back. The user manual did help a lot as well! I wish the Bluetooth user manual was included as well since the app is not as self explanatory but still, 10/10.

The media could not be loaded.  This inexpensive addition to our gig gear has added a lot our performances. We can pre-program lighting schemes to match the mood of specific songs and one of our team can run it from a table 20 feet away. On automatic (sound-sensitive) mode, it does fine on its own to match the speed and volume of the music. I'm considering buying a second one.

The whole reason I bought this light was to use it with BT. Otherwise, why would anyone spend more money for the feature? So the light works perfectly fine, nothing wrong there. The Bluetooth however does not work on iOS 13+. This update has been out for roughly a month now publicly, but half a year for beta testing, this should have been figured out sooner.So, I have a light that works, yes, but does not work for the reason I, or anyone probably, would buy it. Customer support stated that they are working on a fix for it, but did not offer anything in return. The IR remote could have been offered at least to allow wireless communication, the whole point of this device.Overall very disappointed. Until then I will just have to live with climbing up on a chair to change light settings, color, etc.
