What a fantastic system to keep my phone on my bike
I looked at a lot of different system for mounting my phone to my bike. I came from an iphone that had a plastic sleeve that mounted to the bike, but by new S4 didn't fit! Quite the conundrum. I really liked the way the quad lock locks the phone to the mount without relying on some sort of pressure or tension on the outside of the phone. Competitor products with little sliding arms that grip the sides of the phone don't seem sturdy and obscure buttons. I planned on using my mount on regular road cycling, hard pack with a hybrid, and mountain biking. So far it has performed superbly for those activities. I am no Chris Froome, but I do love to ride my bike a lot. I've done about 100 miles so far with this system. I have also installed a mount in my car which was simple and also works great. All the mounts have been solid with no issues with the phone dismounting on it's own or coming loose in any way. It is securely locked in it's position. However, when it is time for dismount, the process is super easy. This bike mount is really easy to install and take off. It makes it really easy to switch it from bike to bike. The look of it is just so clean too. Almost every time I go on a group ride someone comments. One guy said it reminded him of the screen in a tesla but bike style. I think this is because, when attached, you see nothing but the phone floating there on the handlebars. This has the incredible benefit of the phone being easy to access. All the buttons are there like they normally would be and there is nothing in between you and the screen to get in the way of regular phone functions. I have texted while riding my bike. Pretty amazing! My only issue with the system is a blunder I made that you don't have to repeat. I bought the Neo Hybrid case to attach the adapter to. While it works fine and I really like the case, choosing a case with a flexible back turned out to be a little aggravating. It adds a little flexibility into the whole set up. While it's nothing awful and not annoying enough to order a new case and adapter, if I could go back in time, I'd have ordered a solid case.

Smokes the LifeProof products
I purchased the "LifeProof" Fre case and the bike mount initially and not going to lie, I was pleased BUT...The mount is big, bulky and even though they provided 3 different sized gaskets to fix onto my bar, I still had to go out and get one that would work (one was too big and one was too small). And even though the case is solid and water proof, the flimsy film over the screen was horrible (streaks, raised off glass near earpiece and rather bulky)... These issues made me look for an alternative...Which brought me to Quad Lock. Initially I kept seeing it advertised all over facebook but once I decided LifeProof wasn't for me I gave Quad Lock a look... SO GLAD I DID.I odered Quad Lock and I popped my iPhone into the new case (simple and less than 10 seconds... LifeProof took 40 minutes)). The case has no loose points and has a real tight fit.As for the bike mount, I was hoping it wouldn't be as time consuming as the LifeProof and apparently It wasn't... Again it took no time at all... super easy... just put the mount where wanted and connect with included o-rings. Was it really that easy? YESAnd using the mount is even easier. With one hand you just put the phone onto mount angled and then turn into position... DONEAnd once mounted the phone is sturdy enough to use all the functions of the phone without the phone dipping or moving under the weight of your fingers.*** MY ONE COMPLAINT *** This really bothered me but I did not lower my Quad Lock rating because it reflects more on Amazon (not Quad Lock)... I received the packed that was shipped via USPS and the mailing package was not opened (sealed as Amazon sent it) but once I opened the mailing envelope it was very evident that the Quad Lock box had been opened before... it had two rips and obvious that the unit had been used and returned... I shouldn't have to pay retail for something that was used and returned by someone elseHIGHLY RECOMMEND ! ! !

Bar-None the ONLY solution for iPhone mount on a Bike that truly works.
Bar-None the ONLY solution for iPhone mount on a Bike that truly works. And I've tried at least a dozen other solutions, nothing was stable, easy to use and so practical as this Annex Quad Lock. I found them through their fundraising campaign but was hesitant about it and purchased it on Amazon a year later after it had been produced. This is an amazing case (a bit bulky with the back being protruding) but I don't use it besides when on the bike though the case itself would be perfect for everyday usage if you don't mind the added bump on the back (Where it mounts onto the bike).Watch the video of the mountain biker, that's what made me even trust this thing and I've gone over 1,250 miles on the road (I ride road/competitive so not as harsh as mountain or off-road hybrid) and it has not even slightly been jaded or compromised. The case that goes over the phone to make it "water-proof" does fog up easily and is hard to use as far as touching the screen, but I just use it for the rain if it comes to it, the plastic isn't the best quality and I wish they would make a better one but 90% of the time I use it without that rubbery plastic semi-opaque cover. The phone will heat up substantially if you're using GPS or logging, which compounds with the sun bearing down on it, but unless you make a mini-sunshade for the iPhone, I don't know of any other way and don't think it's a valid argument against the product. Road bikes are meant to be minimal already and this is perfect for that, I don't want a huge case that hides it from the sun, etc. etc.Protection is awesome- the fit is superfluous and quality is just top-notch. 5-Star product even despite the minor hiccups I mentioned.
