Saved myself a whole lot of money by replacing the belt myself. I have an older stacked washer and dryer it fit perfectly and was relatively easy to do. Just utube it.

It works and my dryer is back in commission
Looks the same as the old one, but without the wear. This one is made in Mexico, whereas the original belt was USA made. I watched a video on YouTube that showed me how to replace the broken belt for my model; it worked easily and effectively. The original belt lasted at least 10 and a half years. I'll be pleased if this one is as long-lived.

It fit!
I watched many Youtube videos to figure out what was wrong with my dryer. Once i realized that it needed a belt, i came to Amazon for help. This product was delivered as promised and fit the dryer drum perfectly.

Get a few, they don't last that long.
My dryer is on belt 3 after 5 years, belts are very thin and don't last that long. Check pulley alignment when installing will make it last a bit longer. Not too bad to install, I'm getting quite good at it now less than 30 min now after all the experience, ha!

May be buying a brand new dryer
Turns out this item fixed several problems in my GE dryer once installed. It was purchased due to internet research suggesting it would fix a problem where the dryer would not stay on after releasing the start-knob, nor would the drum spin though the motor did and hot air was being released through the vent. This piece also fixed a long-time deafening roaring noise and a gradually increasing squeak which I assume was due to the slides wearing down too quickly, although I did take the time to relevel the dryer while I was working on it as well.Point is, this belt does work with the GE models which use the 89" or so belt WE12M29 and will fix problems such as the drum failing to spin.
