Hasbro's Star Wars Black Series Sabine Wren
Here we have the Hasbro Star Wars Black Series release of Sabine Wren from the Disney XD show Rebels. I'm a pretty big fan of the show and was glad to see so many Rebel easter eggs in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Sabine is a member of the Rebel Alliance and accompanies Kanan, Ezra, Hera, Zeb and Chopper aboard their ship Ghost. This is how Sabine looks in season 1, all of the Rebels figures released so far (we're up to 3, Kanan, Ashoka and now Sabine) are how they look in season 1, doubtful we'll get their looks from other seasons except maybe for some store exclusive down the road. In season 2 Sabine's hair is Blue/Teal and in season 3 it's White/Purple.Sabine comes decked out in her Mandalorian armor which has speckled paint apps all over. She also comes with her Mandalorian helmet that fits nice and snug, and I like that the range finder is articulated. Sabine also comes with her spray gun which is great since her tagging and spray painting is such a big part of her character in the show. And last but not least she also comes with her WESTAR-35 blaster pistols that fit great in her hands as well as the double holsters. All of the accessories look great and fit well in her hands. Articulation is on par with what we've been getting from the Black Series. You'll have no problem getting her on one knee or crouching poses, she's balanced well overall. If you're a fan of the show this is a must have. The accessories and how they function, the killer paint applications like all the paint splatter and her hair, this is one of the better Black Series figures we've gotten. Looks like it'll be awhile before we get the rest of the Ghost crew, in 2016 we got 3, but so far we've not seen anything for an Ezra figure, Hera has been making the rounds at some conventions, still haven't seen Zeb or Chopper. And we're already a third of the way into the year. I wish we'd get some villains, Governor Tarkin would be the best since he could serve double duty for A New Hope and Rebels, Agent Kallus or an Inquisitor would be nice too, but if or until we get those, this Sabine Wren is a fantastic figure and comes FULLY APPROVED.

Great detail work and amazing figure overall.
Great figure for all Sabine fans! The face is a bit off if you look at it close up, but I already knew that it would be that way. She looks absolutely amazing with her helmet on. She can also be fairly difficult to pose since she doesn’t stand very easily, but I already knew this would be the case. So overall I got exactly what I expected and wanted so 5/5 stars.

Super Pretty Action Figure!
Sabine Wren! They did a phenomenal job with this figure! I display her without her helmet, but either way, she looks awesome! Be very careful putting the helmet on and taking it off. It’s a very tight fit and I’ve seen video reviewers scuff her hair paint taking it off and putting it back on.I really hope she shows up in the Mandalorian with Ahsoka!

For Mandalore!
This is the third Black Series entry which attempts to translate the lackluster art of Star Wars Rebels to greater realism, and as with Kanan and Ahsoka, they've done a (mostly) good job.The armor and costume look perfect, down to the point of showing reasonable amounts of weathering, though far from the weathering seen on the more well-known Mandalorian, Boba Fett. Really, this is appropriate, as not only is Sabine younger than Boba, but she also frequently paints and modifies the look of her armor. As such, a lot of the battle damage will largely hide under fresh decorations, which the figure actually implies. There are scratches and dings on some of her armor, notably the helmet, which were clearly sculpted but not included in the toy's paint job. This could be lazy painting, or it could actually show some thought on the part of Hasbro, but either way in the end it suits the character. The helmet is removable. Really, its packaged with Sabine as an accessory, leaving her face exposed in the package. This is unfortunate, because she really looks better with the helmet on. The unmasked head sculpt is one of the more bland offerings in the Black Series. It's not offensive, but it really conveys nothing of the character, in contrast with the air of self-assured cockiness expressed in the sculpt of last year's Kanan, or the sharp determination in the later release version of Rey. I only docked the figure one star for this, because the weakness of the facial sculpt/paint is easily covered with an appropriate and fitting accessory. She comes with twin blaster pistols, which also feature some decently weathered paint jobs, as well as her Star Wars-style, high tech airbrush for putting potentially explosive graffiti on Imperial property. The airbrush is well-sculpted, but lacks any kind of paint, leaving it only with the greyish-silver plastic color it was molded in.Bits of paint splatter on her forearms and shins continue to reinforce the punkish, artistic aesthetic of the character, and subtle but clearly present texturing suggesting the fabric variations in her suit add depth and realism to a character previously seen only in fairly simplistic animation. All in all, I think Sabine is a good figure, more so for those of us who will take her out of the package and therefore display her with that awesome Mandalorian helmet covering the mediocre face. For context on my commentary on the facial sculpt, it should be born in mind that I received Sabine on the same day as I received the S.H. Figuarts Harley Quinn, which looks like a 1/12 scale Margot Robbie, so the impressive sculpt and paint from Harley may have unfairly biased me regarding Sabine and the Blavk Series in general. (I can't convince myself to consider any Black Series Luke, but the Figuarts versions both have tempted me strongly...)All in all, Sabine is a cool figure of a likeable character. If you're a Mandalorian enthusiast or a fan of Rebels, I would highly recommend adding her to your collection.
