The laptop would hardly function and the battery was nearly dead.And I ordered this replacement battery and another piece of memory and now it's like a 5 or $600 computer.I'm a happy camper

I purchased this battery to replace the dead OEM component in my wife's Lenovo IdeaPad. Install was a breeze and it fit perfectly. The included tools were a nice touch, but I have a nice precision screwdriver kit that allowed me to match the screws better (highly recommended so you don't round the heads out). In terms of use, it has been great so far. Battery life is pretty good, though I doubt it's quite a good as the original. That said, it's a heck of a lot better than the zero battery life the worn out battery it replaced had. It functions completely fine, otherwise. The laptop now runs unplugged and has a new lease on life with Linux running on it. (Windows was hogging up all the RAM and would no longer run, lol.)

Useless. Bought this for a customer's HP 15T laptop because I wanted to get it repaired quickly and there were no OEM units available locally. Battery fit just fine and all the labels were correct for replacement number, voltage, etc. Plugged it in and charge light came on but the battery never charged. For all I know this thing is just packed with sand. Fortunately Amazon's awesome return policy applied. Purchased an OEM unit direct from HP for $83 (with included discounts). Arrived in 4 days. Plugged it in and it charged to 90% in 1 hr. Works perfectly, as expected. After 35 years in I.T. the lesson remains the same; For critical components always go with OEM. Ditto for cars. 😊
