Q: Do you need to cut the hole at 267mm for it to fit in a 28mm double glazed door?

We had our cat flap fitted into a glass panel so we had a double glazing fitter to install it,he did the cutting of the hole,sorry unable to help

Yes mine is fitted in a double glazed window. You will need to have a new glazing unit made with a hole in it, we also had to get longer screws than come with the cat flap as the double glazed glass was a lot thicker than a standard window. (We have kept the double glazed unit that was taken out in case we want to have a normal window again in the future)

Q: Is this suitable for a double glazed door?

I have mine on a double glazed window but the hole was cut and the window sealed at the window manufacturers so you would need to check with the glazer/supplier of your door
