Used this for over 4 hours and it performed flawlessly. Very impressed ....super smooth and professional looking shots especially the way it tracks and filters, even jogging it was impressive. Can wait to take this ski'ing .... not if only there was a selfie stick version of this gimbal !!! Don't buy the recommended travel case. I did and it doesn't fit. see my review for that as well.

I bought this gimbal in an attempt to improve my hand-held video output, both for my business and personally. I use Android mobiles, but have an ipad which i already had Filmic Pro on, so knew their software to be good, and now use it on the S7 edge with the gimbal as it offers so much control. When I bought it Filmic Pro cost £11.49, and I made a further in-app purchase of the Cinematographer Kit for £7.49 to get all the bells and whistles.You can see the improvement in the films you make immediately, although I am needing to make time to more fully understand all the tips and tricks to get the most out of it. The free app by Zhiyun is okay, and easily enough to get you started.Battery life is epic, and will outlast any device attached to it. They claim 12 hours, and I can well believe it, although I haven't tracked that for myself yet.It is well constructed and could coupe with the everyday knocks associated with family life, but I did also buy a hard case as the polystyrene packaging it came in isn't very user friendly in everyday life.The control wheels and buttons are quite intuitive and make it so much easier to adjust focus, zoom and lighting without interacting with the screen directly, and so jogging the recording.I have yet to try out the tripod whilst videoing. This could come in handy when filming a talk or presentation and you set the app to track the face of the presenter from a fixed position. The tripod fixing point is also of use if you buy an adapter to take a seperate mic or light. I have yet to shoot video with either but have bought the adapter.

Says in description works with Huawei. Will not connect to P10 Pro or P20 mate pro. Seller suggested getting Filmic. Another £11.27 spent. Still no result. Note that the clamp goes over the 'on button' on both phones and keeps it down so phone constantly on and off. Note also that in the booklet that comes with it there is a warning about some functionality not being available on android phones. Sending back as not as described.

This gimbal is easy to use, very intuitive and simple. Being simple isn't a bad thing, it does the job it is designed for very, very well, producing silky smooth videos with no shake.If this is in your budget, go straight ahead and buy it, you won't be disappointed!
