Defender set includes XC1 front fender and XC11 rear fender for 29" wheels. The XC1 is a two-piece, moto-inspired front fender that attaches to the suspension fork lowers for a closer fit to the tire and excellent mud/spray protection. A precision clamp assembly secures the fender to the fork lower legs and a special safety feature allows it to disengage if a large obstruction enters the wheel. The XC11 is a lightweight, removable rear fender providing exceptional mud/spray protection. Multiple pivots allow easy fender angle adjustment for a perfect fit, while the quick release clamp adjust to fit 25.4-34.9mm seat posts. No more water on your back
These are great really strong and don't let any water from the rear tire flick up. The front one moves with the front tire so no splash when turning. A little on the expense side but worth it compared to cheeper ones.

Great product
Topeak is the very good brand. Got other stuff with their logo and always were happy with. Like the fact that front guard works with the wheel. Will get two more for other bikes as well.

Does not fit Giant Talen 29er correctly
Does not really fit the 29inch wheel frame on the Giant Talen. Rear part of the front guard is too close to the wheel if you fit it correctly as per your instructions.
