Bandai Hobby MG Gundam Second Revise Model Kit (1/100 Scale), Astray Blue Frame (BAN160998)

I know lots of people prefer the Red Frame due to the katana swords, but if you want that Gundam, then go for the Perfect Grade. As for the figure itself, it took me about 20 days to build (1 hr per day), but the end result is satisfying in itself. Great articulation, the little bits of orange and gray offset the blue quite nicely, and a great head unit design! The sword is big, but heavy and needs the included stand to do most poses. Well worth the cost and effort to build.

This kit is very intricate so despite some issues it's a solid build.pros#1 strong build and tons of detail #2 different weapons from most gundam type suits amongst them an incredible physical sword that is at least 2 or more times tall as the unit itself,two armor scinider type anti armor knives and the swords other forms such as a gattling gun.#3 it comes with a stand Wichita is useful for posing.now the cons are that the sword is quite heavy so use the stand to balance it.many many small parts that can break If you are not carful.and leg issue might be an issue just due to the tiny parts used.good luck with your build.

Package arrived in great condition with all components present and much earlier than estimated arrival time. Surprising considering it shipped from Japan. Standard international shipping sometimes does not include tracking as was the case with this product/seller. BlueSkyUS was prompt and curteous when answering my shipping questions via email. As for the kit itself - awesome! This is my 17th master grade Ban Dai kit and possibly the best one in 12+ years of kit building. The frame is sturdy yet complex and you can actually handle the mech without pieces falling off. Stickers and dry transfers round out the detail perfectly. The transforming Tactical Arms II weapon set easily switches modes with tabs fitting nicely into slots @ unit's hands. The included stand is necessary for posing the large sword configuration as it is quite heavy. BuiId plus detail took me about 22 very entertaining hours. I highly recommend this kit to anyone interested in model building or Gundam. You won't be disappointed!

A very good model, just be careful with some small parts

There isn't enough praise that I can sing about this kit. It was incredibly fun to build. There is a ton of articulation in the joints, allowing for some great dynamic poses. The backpack / sword / Gatling turret / tonfa swords / Gatling arm is so darn cool, I can't get enough of it. In sword mode it is taller than the suit! Of course this means that posing with it is limited, but the provided stand for the sword facilitates some pretty neat poses if used right. I highly recommend subbing paint for the sticker decals (there aren't many, but I HATE stickers on my models). The dry and wet transfer sticker decals are about what you would expect (tiny and numerous). A little care and patience will yield huge rewards with this kit.

Con's: Side skirts tend to fall off very easily with little force. The backpack/wings is heavy not as much as 00 Raiser though, but don't expect to doing some awesome pose without an action base or without the tactical arm falling off. The fingers of the hand is very fragile, be careful as the weapon does not always lock in place and tends to wear down the fingers. Pro's: Great details better then modern MG. Articulation is amazing! I have the PG Red Frame and the articulation is very new a like! Comes with a small action base to hold the tactical arms in sword form! A fun build from toe to head. The design of the model kit is just outstanding. Tactical arm has many variant forms. A good amount of decals, dry transfers,water. Fairly easy build, for new people getting into gunpla or just building model kits for master grade I recommend tools to chip the pieces of plates, a basic strategy. Would recommend!

This was my first MG kit and I love it. The fully assembled model feels very sturdy and awesome. The articulation is very good but the shoulder armor kind of hinders the arm if you want to do a certain pose. It's not too big of an issue. I've also caught myself playing with it, that's how good this kit is. I highly recommend getting this kit. Also comes with two knives and the tactical arms that transforms into a Gatling gun and it can also into separate swords with a beam effect. It also converts into the flight unit. The feet come with a "hidden" blade, so does on the heel. This also comes with a 1/44 stand. BTW when building the torso, you need to be very careful, some pieces feel very easy to break, I stressed the arm peg.

Es un gran Kit, se nota que es una version mas reciente ya que las uniones y la forma de armar es un tanto diferente, llevaba tiempo en mi whislist, recomiendo al 100 si ya tienes experiencia con gunpla ya que como todo requiere mucha paciencia apra dejar todos los detalles perfectos

Cette figurine est exceptionnelle, j'adore son look avec son épée gigantesque transformable. Celle-ci est assez lourde, elle ne tient pas dans sa main, mais heureusement un socle est inclus dans la boite pour faire tenir cette arme. On obtient un gundam de plus de 18 cm et son épée d'environ 27 cm, ça en impose clairement. Pour le détail, est fourni aussi la figurine minuscule (à l'échelle du gundam) du pilote, et un double qui est introduit à l'intérieur du cockpit.Celui-ci s'avère d'ailleurs compliqué à ouvrir/fermer... Contrairement aux photos montrées, le gundam a aussi plusieurs autocollants à coller sur lui, c'est un gros plus. Par contre, j'ai remarqué qu'il y a quelques couleurs qui manquent par rapport à la photo (cf. réacteurs de l'épée).
