Been using it for years and love it
Been using for at least 20 years. I am originally from Italy and this is one of the most used brands since back in the days. However, this is not yeast; it is sodium bicarbonate based I believe. However, I use it for all my baking of sweet items like chocolate or apple pies/cakes. I make chocolate pear coffee cake and other family recepes and they come out always really good. I love the flavor because it contains vanillin already and adds a nice twist to the recipe.

This yeast is perfect. The only issue I had that it came completely crushed so I had to throw it away and couldn't use it. But I have used it many times while living overseas

Perfection!
I’ve been using this product for many years to make my Italian Biscotti. It’s the only yeast to use for this. My recipe has been handed down for generations and my Italian friend shared his Nonnie’s recipe which was her Nonnie’s recipe. It’s perfection!

Uso il Lievito Paneangeli da anni per dolci e torte fatte in casa, e continua a essere un prodotto affidabile e costante nei risultati. Fa crescere bene l’impasto senza lasciare retrogusti o odori sgradevoli, e il profumo di vaniglia che rilascia in cottura è uno dei suoi segni distintivi. È perfetto per torte soffici, ciambelloni, muffin e biscotti, ma va usato solo per preparazioni che non richiedono lievitazione lunga — non è adatto a pane o pizza, perché si tratta di un lievito chimico istantaneo, non di lievito di birra. La resa è ottima: una bustina è calibrata per circa 500 g di farina, e l’effetto è sempre uniforme, anche in forni domestici. Inoltre, non lascia aloni bianchi né retrogusti amari come certi lieviti economici. ✅ Punti forti • Lievitazione omogenea e costante • Aroma di vanillina molto piacevole • Nessun retrogusto o residuo visibile • Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo ⚠️ Piccoli difetti • Non adatto a impasti salati o a lunga lievitazione • L’aroma di vaniglia può essere troppo marcato per chi preferisce dolci neutri
