Great bin! Does exactly what a bin is supposed to do but the sensors are great!

Why did you choose this product over others?:Lovely bun perfect for area it was intended for in my small kitchen so the shape is great as does not prodrude into kitchen space. Only gripe is that I wish it had been supplied with first set of batteries as they were not common held in home batteries also had to wait til I was able to get out and purchase

The product is great, do its job however it a bit too low for us. I would say good value for money.

The bin itself is fine. The lid on the other hand is an absolute joke. The sensor can be a little too sensitive, so it will open quite quickly, which is both good (you're not left standing there waiting), and bad (because you have to re-trigger it if you're putting a lot of stuff in the bin, or you want to keep the lid open for an extended period). There is a switch on the underside of back of the lid which you can use to keep the lid open, but when you have your hands full (one of the reasons we bought a bin with a sensor lid!), it is difficult to access that switch. However, the MOST annoying thing is that the lid motor has failed twice in two years. Each time we've had to fork out for a replacement lid which costs £50. It has just failed for a third time in three years and we won't be replacing the lid. I'll be buying a pedal bin instead. This bin has ended up costing me £180 (original purchase, two replacement lids, plus batteries). I could have gotten 10 pedal bins for that.

I waited a while after buying to review this bin, to make sure that I liked it.I so wish I had bought one years ago.This is a brilliant bin and I would not want to be without it.I am in a wheelchair and stubbornly kept not buying a battery powered bin.This has changed a lot for me in the kitchen.I am less tired and make a lot less mess!The same batteries are still going a year after purchase.It is easy to use. You can put things in quickly or press a button to hold open the lid if the job will take a while.It is easy to empty and to put a new bag in.The bag always stays in place, it never drops into the bin.It is easy to clean.As the other reviews said the lid is sensitive and will open if you are near it and don't want to put something in.If you know that you can adjust to it.I never thought I would be this pleased with a bin!I recommend the bin and the seller.

Very good bin, works exactly as expected

There’s no inside bucket which surprised me ,Have to use big bags each time that cane seen , had one before could lift inner out much better, serves its purpose, works well , prompt delivery, and shape of it means it fits better in a small kitchen

Does exactly what you would expect it to do.The reaction time for the motion sensor to kick in is extremely quick.Next to difference in the time it takes to lift up a traditional bin lid. It's very well thought out. Just the small subtlies, such as concealing the bin liner, just adds to its aesthetic.It saves you time & money with not having to waste water. As your hands never touch the bin. So it's so much more hygienic too. Sure it's pricy but as soon as you factor in all the plus points it's a no brainer.
