There is some definition to the newel cap, it's not just plain.
The newel cap is great well made and looks good, the only problem is when the courier delivered the item we had an emergency so we had to go out it was during this time the courier arrived and delivered the item BUT they left it at the rear of the house under a garden glass table which we did not know because they did not leave a note, it was purely accidental that we found it 12 hours later. Newel cap great, courier not so good.

Great product - size slightly off
The media could not be loaded. I ordered 4 of the full caps and 1 1/2 cap for my banister for a hallway makeover. Love the look they have given. Makes the staircase more appealing than when we first bought the house with nothing on top. The measurements are slightly off so some fitted, however I had to cut some of the spaces to be a bit wider. Other than that, I love them. They are also paintable and don’t soak up any of the primer or paint.

Half newel isn't a full half
The full newel caps, great, the half newel isn't half and doesn't fit on the newel post. Had to buy another full one and cut in half
