Usage and the order to put: 1. Prepare a piece of transfer paper, a piece of fabric, a drawings, an iron pen, a ballpoint , a piece of tracing paper. 2. Place the drawings on the hard and flat table，cover with tracing paper，copy the outline to the tracing paper with the ballpoint. 3. Place the fabric on the table，choose a transfer paper of appropriate color (dark color for light fabric, light color for dark fabric) the color side must be facing the fabric. Put the tracing paper which has described the pattern on the transfer paper. Use the iron pen to trace the pattern，the pattern was successfully copied onto the fabric. In the tracing process, the fabric, transfer paper, and drawings cannot be moved. 4. In this way, you can transfer your favorite patterns to the embroidery fabric. Pattern does not wash off
I liked the pen. The tracing paper and transfer paper work great. But I would NOT say it's water-soluable. I tried to remove the excess/visible pattern with water, and that did not budge. So, I washed the entire piece in the washing machine. It came out with the same blue markings clearly visible on my yellow shirt. // I purchased this for my hand embroidery projects. This would only work for me if I stitched perfectly and exactly on top of the pattern, using enough thread to cover it. Unfortunately, I'm trashing it and having to find another kind.

Best for tracing on hard surface
This is not good for tracing on fabric. The paper ripped multiple times as I was tracing. Also, I tried multiple colors on black fabric (t-shirt) and the lines were very faint. I think this would be best used for tracing onto paper or a hard surface.

No English instructions but works well
Easy to use once I looked at the visual instructions on the product page, unfortunately instructions and packaging are printed in a language I don’t read.

Doesn’t wash off
Cool concept, fast deliver.It doesn’t really wash off, so make sure to only trace the line you’re cutting if you use light color fabric
