I'm recommending these to all my friends who like this style of self bow ties.If you don't know how to tie the self bow tie these are great for learning that technique for life. I'm an expert teacher for this; as I can tie them with out looking in a mirror, and I can tie them on others looking at them face to face. I was taught this skill by my grand father, & pass on my learning to anyone who whats to learn it too.Pensee has other ties too at different prices not sure why the cost has a difference?They all came individually in their own see through package and were shipped together in one, in the group of the four that I ordered.I did a pay the extra for expedited shipping as i need them here before the 25th of December for all my holiday eventsJust placed another order too for more at the great priced $4.99 ties as don't know when the cost will go up. Went with the standard shipping .Look forward to see more fashion options for the great price on occasion will splurge if the tie looks fun.

I now own several of these Pensee brand self-tie bowties. I started wearing these ties because they're roughly half the cost of a 'regular' necktie and to be blunt - the chicks dig it. My first bowtie was a Pensee and so far they've held up well. I've tried other brands and some are better (but more expensive) and some are worse (for about the same cost). I wanted something that would go well with black or grey shirts, and this seemed to fit the bill. The material isn't too slick so it will stay tied easily, and it doesn't fight you when you're putting it on. Is it as nice as the $100 silk ties my friends wear? No. But for a tenth of the cost I will definitely buy more of these as they seem to be built well and have lasted me several uses with no creasing issues or other problems.

This product was received within the time frame proected by the vendor. It is one of my favorite ties. I received several compliments when I wore it the first time. It is a quality product and is sold at a reasonable price. I would purchase other products from this vendor in the future and recommend others to consider Pensee also.

I'm not going to say these are the best bowties I have ever worn, but they are very good given that they only cost $5! I bought 8 right away and love them all, they are all different and are a little thin but only people who pay close attention and know about bowties would really notice. I do imagine this will be their downfall in the future but that has yet to happen after about 3 months of use. The shipping does take a little while but much less than the 20 days suggested by the shipping notice, it took them about 2 weeks to get to me which was fine since I was in no hurry to get them. Love the bowties, great quality for the price that cannot be beat!

What's not to love. I took a chance and purchased 8. Silk, great color and feel along with low price. I compared then to Bow Ties purchased from another on line retailer (TB) and the feel, shape and quality are similar at 1/3 of the price. Of the ones I purchased the stands outs were the 'Dark Blue Red Strip', 'Sky Blue Black Stripe', 'Black and Blue Stripe along with the 'Red Black & Yellow Plaids. Stunning look, you'll get compliments trust me. They arrived in about 2 weeks.

This is my starter set of bowties and so far it has been just fine. At $5 compared to $40 it is worth every penny. I bought about 8 of them and enjoy learning to tie and spruce up the wardrobe. Once you determine what you like then figure out if you want to spend more money on fancier ones...for now they are just fine for me. I've wore three of them so far.

Nephew thoroughly enjoyed learning how to tie a bow tie. Now, whether or not he wears it is another issue. Was fun teaching him. Great memory which I'll hold on to forever. Quality product and packaging.
