First shop around first. I checked around locally, most places only push 10 gauge thats miss poor. If you ever jump someone's car And couldn't because of the angle?? Or that other terminal couldn't connect because the clamps needed spreader more.Gauge, lenth are great don't forget these cables can tackle commercial equipment as well worth the extra $20 . My opinion safer, less Change of damage to either vehicle , because there thicker gauge wire great length. For the average person on occasional use yea most likely over kill. Excellent for emergency Roadside company. Bottom line peace of mind.

These are heavy duty and very nicely made. They do not feel cheap. I will say trying to get them back in the bag after you’ve used them is like trying to stuff 20lbs of potatoes into a 10lb bag. We used them once and the nice gentleman who helped us complimented them. We bought the 20’ length because we have a lifted full size truck and a Flex so both long vehicles. This way a car doesn’t have to be in front of us to still help out if needed.

These are great jumper cables and an exceptional value. After several failed attempts to jump start a car that was sitting for over a year with my department store cables, I decided it was time for an upgrade. I wanted a set that was really heavy duty and found these on Amazon. These cables jump started the dead car on the first try, with no charging time. I hooked them up, turned the key and boom! it started right up. I am really impressed. The wires are super thick and the clamps are really strong. These things really are heavy duty as advertised.

These jumper cables are very heavy duty and well made - believe they will last a long time. The terminal ends are fully insulated and rubber coated - should help avoid inadvertent scratching of the car when taking them on and off. These are much better than the cheap 18 gauge specials you find for $15. I would recommend these to anyone looking for some quality jumper cables.

Amazingly solid and well built. Works SO much better than the less expensive average gauge jumper cables. Well worth the money to buy this 2 gauge quality. If you have a dead battery and need a charge, you do not want to put your faith in the lesser quality products that will not work as well. I'm really impressed with these- seems like they will last a lifetime.
