This is not a lifetime rain suit. This is a wind and rain suit that's so light you can just keep it with your gear and not use it until it becomes necessary. The rain/wind suit you have with you even if it's kind of cheap is better than the nice one you left home when you need it. This serves its purpose and is inexpensive.

Bought this for a trip to Germany, didn’t realize I was going to need it as much as I did. Served its purpose as it kept me dry and actually warm while we were over there traveling. It is lightweight, but the fabric definitely keeps you dry.

Lightweight, just what we needed.

After about 10 minutes of light to medium rain my hair was wet and arms were wet. It did seem to keep my shirt dry though. It works well as a windbreaker but not totally rainproof so I would not recommend it as a rain coat.
