Waterproof Dog Raincoat - Reflective, Bright Pink Rain Coat with Leash Hole (L, Pink)

I needed to replace my Standard Poodle's raincoat as he had grown out of it and there are so many options out there! I liked the look of this coat which was a fair price so went for it and it really is a perfect fit! Poodles have deep chests so it's not always easy to find a suitable style but the XL was just right for him, lightweight and breathable. It is also easily adjustable and kept him dry on our walk in heavy rain today plus the high viz colour is great. It has leg straps which stops the coat flapping and is very easy to put on and take off. There is a slot to attach the lead to a harness which was an essential requirement for me. Highly recommend!

I tried this product out in both heavy rain and darkness, and it is perfect. Keeps the dog, a border collie (large size), dry and a perfect fit. Today in the dark, we have to walk along two sections of road to connect to bridlepaths, and it was perfect. We can clearly be seen by motorists who give us more room when passing compared to normal.

I already own a waterproof coat for my dog but it is a winter coat with a fur lining and collar so is too warm for warmer weather. I therefore decided to buy a lightweight coat for the summer. I prefer a coat with a built in harness but struggled to find a lightweight coat with this. I found this coat which does not have a built in harness but otherwise looked good. I carefully measured my dog and ordered the medium size. Unfortunately when the coat arrived it was slightly too neat on her. In particular the zip would not go fully up. I then realised that I had forgotten to take account of the fact that she would be wearing her harness underneath the coat. There is no way the coat would go over her harness so unfortunately I had to return the coat. This was a shame as it was a good quality coat. It was sturdy and well made and would certainly have kept her dry. I would still recommend this coat but would warn any potential buyers to measure your dog on top of its harness.

Perfect fit, great quality. Fluorescent. Leg straps are fab as you tighten or loosen them not like other elastic leg straps. Hasn’t rained heavy yet so can’t comment on how waterproof.

Great lightweight waterproof coat for my cocker spaniel. The size medium fits perfectly. He is chest size 22 1/4" and the top of his back from his collar to top of tail is around 46cm. I find the buckle strap is easier to use than a velcro fasten on my dog who doesnt like to stand still for long. Keeps him dry. Lovely design. It has lasted well over 2 years now and is still keeping him dry, the colour has faded a bit as you would expect. Would recommend this coat as a 3 season coat. I prefer a thicker one for winter. Very pleased with my purchase. Thank-you.

Now I've used coat a few times, it is of good quality, very bright, fits well and good price. Only problem I have is as stated in a previous review, the access slot on top needs to be around 1.5in longer. 1 of my dogs has a harness and slot is too near the neck, I can't use the top fastening. 4 stars.

Ich habe mir für unsere Fellnase gleich zwei davon bestellt. Es ist nicht zu glauben, aber dieses Regenmäntelchen ist scheinbar das einzige Stück, das unserem Hund passt. Andere sind entweder zu kurz oder zu lang oder überhaupt zu groß und meistens ist der Teil, wo der Kragen ist bzw. der Kopf durch muß, zu eng für unser kleines Muskelpaket (Mischling Schweizer Appenzeller und Grauer Deutscher Schäferhund, Hals 70 cm, Brust 90 cm, Länge 85 cm, 40 Kg). Ich kann jedenfalls sagen, dass der Regenmantel absolut wasserdicht ist und um die tiefe Brust unseres Lieblings wie angegossen sitzt. Auch die Länge ist perfekt. Der Kragen geht ziemlich hoch, kann aber mit dem Reißverschluß gut angepasst werden. Die Farben grau/schwarz und orange/schwarz finde ich sehr schön. Leuchtstreifen haben beide Mäntelchen auch. Ich verwende diese Regenmäntelchen auch im Winter. Nicht, dass unser Hund jetzt "unbedingt" ein Mäntelchen bräuchte, weil er ja eigentlich eine gute Unterwolle hat. Aber es ist zum einen angenehmer für den Hund, weil er nicht trief naß ist nach einem Spazierganz bei Schnee, Regen und Graupel und andererseits für uns, damit das Abtrocknen (was unser Hund haßt) nicht so aufwändig und lang andauernd ist. Ab dem Herbst ist bei uns wieder "Mäntelchen-Zeit" und ich bin froh, diese beiden Teile für unser Schlappohr gefunden zu haben. Ich würde sie jedenfalls immer wieder kaufen.
