The Eco-Conscious Barcode Solution: High-Performance Printing That’s Kind to the Planet
Overview: The iSOUL eCompostable Direct Thermal Labels are a game-changer for eco-friendly businesses and high-volume sellers. These 50mm x 25mm self-adhesive labels are specifically designed for UPC barcodes, FBA product labeling, and general organization. Unlike traditional thermal labels that often contain plastic films or BPA, these are marketed as fully compostable, allowing you to maintain a professional shipping operation while significantly reducing your environmental footprint. Key Features: eCompostable Material: Crafted from plant-based or recycled fibers that are designed to break down naturally, meeting the needs of modern, sustainable packaging workflows. Direct Thermal Technology: Uses heat-sensitive coating to create sharp, black text and barcodes—no expensive ink, toner, or ribbons required. Universal Compatibility: Optimized for major desktop thermal printers including Rollo, Zebra, MUNBYN, iDPRT, Toshiba, and Citizen. Perforated for Convenience: Each label is separated by a clean perforation, making it easy to tear off individual stickers without damaging the next one in the roll. Strong Permanent Adhesive: Engineered to stick securely to cardboard boxes, poly mailers, glass, and plastic, ensuring your barcodes stay put during transit. Pros: BPA-Free Security: Produced without Bisphenol A, making them safer for frequent handling and more environmentally responsible. Jam-Free Design: The labels are precision-cut and "thinner than average" to prevent adhesive buildup and mechanical jams in your printer head. Excellent Scannability: The high-contrast matte white surface ensures that scanners can read UPC and FBA barcodes instantly, reducing shipping errors. FBA Approved: The 50mm x 25mm (approx. 2" x 1") size is the industry standard for Amazon FBA product labeling. Cons: Light & Heat Sensitive: Because they are direct thermal, these labels will fade if left in direct sunlight or near high heat for extended periods (typical for all direct thermal paper). Single Roll Pack: This listing is for 1000 labels; if you are a high-volume warehouse, you may want to look for the multi-roll bulk packs for better per-label value. Final Thoughts: If your brand values sustainability, these iSOUL labels are a "no-brainer" upgrade. They provide the same crisp, professional results as standard thermal labels but without the plastic waste. They are particularly popular with Etsy sellers and Amazon FBA entrepreneurs who want their packaging to reflect their eco-friendly mission. It's a small change in your supply chain that makes a big statement to your customers.

Great labels and sticky too!
I have a thermal printer that I mainly use for 6x4" address labels. It does however have a size slider guide so you can use it for smaller sized labels. I have previously used 50x25mm labels, but via printed A4 sheets using ink. This gives me the option to do the same but without wasting ink. Also, better than the ink method, you can print 1-however many in seconds without wasting a full sheet of A4 as if you go the A4 method, you need to print the full sheets worth each time. So you set it up as you normally would a 6x4 label. The part that wasn't as straight forward was setting a small 25x50mm Word page and getting the text central. But I now have the test page saved so all I have to do is change the text and I'm away in seconds. The print quality is excellent and they are very sticky, I use mine on plastic bubble envelopes which some labels don't stick well to, but these stay adhered with no issue.

Nice quality shipping labels, but let down by poor packaging
If you own a thermal label printer and send a lot of parcels, then a bulk pack of labels like this is really handy, and a potential cost saver. The pack of 500 labels arrives shrink-wrapped. The protection for the labels is a little bit lacking, so depending on how carefully (or not) they're packed and shipped, you my find you have some damaged label corners. That was the case for me. The corner damage isn't terrible, and mainly affects the first and last 10 sheets or so, Still, for the sake of a box, or two pieces of card to strengthen the pack of labels, damage like that could be easily avoided. The labels themselves are of good quality. They're pure white, quite thick and durable, with a nice satin finish. The resulting prints using my printer were sharp, with deep and even blacks. The perforations allow each sheet to be easily torn off after printing. The packing paper peels off easily and cleanly, and there's a good level of adhesion. As they're coated, they resist water really well too, so you don't have to worry about parcels getting wet. At the current price of £7.45 for 500 labels, these are decent value for money. Had in not been for the corner damage, which I feel is the result of a poor packaging choice by the manufacturer rather than a shipping issue, then these would have got full marks from me.

Great sized labels at a reasonable price.
Oh what heaven! Self Adhesive Labels... a joy to find! They used to call these 'typewriter labels' back in the old days! These are just the right size for reusing envelopes, and stick well to paper and plastic. They are large enough for you to write on with a biro or a pen. Compostable too, so no problem to dispose of after use. I have used these for window type envelopes and ordinary envelopes in order to reuse them, (they fit just inside a standard window envelope for privacy) and also for food items stored in plastic bags for the freezer. They are also useful to label files for a filing system. A multitude of uses really! A very reasonable price for 250 labels, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these.
