Not sure what the one star review is all about. These work great for venetian blind double or quadruple control cords. The cords go in to the tassel and secure with a knot. One hole at bottom of tassel for a single control cord to come out of. The plastic will break away if kids, dogs, etc., get caught up in it but the single control cord option at the bottom means you can position the break away tassel far enough up the cords tangles should be a non issue.

This was the only option for a blind cord compressor so I thought I would give it a try. Just a heads up this is a bit of a bear cat to install. You need to thread 3 or 4 strands of the blind cord thru the plastic top, while keeping the bottom part close by, somehow knot the top threads. Then thread the bottom cord thru the bottom plastic part, knot it, and then finally snap the 2 plastic pieces together. I managed to install to my blind, but it was dainty work and if you are not patient it will be frustrating.

Our old ones kept coming apart with any tug on the bottom cord. These, however, work great.

These pop open if there is the slightest amount of tension.

My blind cords were all tangled & after watching a YouTube video, I thought this would be easy. It took a bit, but wish there instructions for this specific clip.

Our blinds are 20 years old. Plastic pieces have become old and brittle. This was a perfect replacement. Well priced.

The product I purchased was the same design of the one I replaced on my horizontal blinds. It was very easy to replace. It was a clear color vs the brown I originally had. But the clear transparent color does not bother me. It serves the purpose for what it was designed to do.

The pieces don’t mate up. There should be a male and female piece but I received all male and nothing would match up. Worthless.
