Great brace

I ordered this brace for my mother. She has 2 compression fractures in her thoracic spine. The first day of wearing this brace, it seemed to work and put pressure in the right places. She felt relief. But after wearing this brace for 24 hours, she began to feel intense nerve pain. The pulley system is nice but be aware that if you cinch it a little too tight, you risk pinching nerves, which is exactly what happened to her. Now she is in excruciating pain and there’s nothing that works to dull it. I should have never ordered this because it is not as good as advertised and only worsened her condition, thus making my life extremely miserable seeing as how I’m her sole caregiver.

Helps to keep correct posture and relieve muscle strain.

This gives me the best support of anything I've tried, it even gives me support for the hernias I have. It wraps around my back and helps support it. I haven't used the over the shoulder part so I'm unsure about that. I've had it a couple of months and just ordered a second one. One I will keep clean for going to town, and one for the remodeling and yard work I am doing..

The brace is good if you r tall and slim.. if you have a belly, it rides up on you. My husband has a medical brace that is hard for his spine. This would have been good but my husband has a belly and it rides up when he gets up from the wheelchair.

There are missing pieces to this brace. There are suppose to be lateral pieces that hug around the hips

It felt like a "Medieval Torture Device"! Very uncomfortable & clumsy like fit! I felt like I was going to be "Chocked to Death" whenever I sat down. I tried it on & was very disappointed with the overall function, fit & comfort level.
