What is the weight difference between the black plastic handle version VS the stainless steel handle version? Thanks

Is this hammer black like in the picture? I saw a review saying that it is red, but the only picture on here has a black one.

The one I ordered from amazon (from this product page) was black...which is what I wanted. There is a silver/chrome handle also that is more expensive (found on a different product page). I did not come across a red one...but maybe it is or was a special edition. All the ones I see at work are either black or chrome. (By the way, it's a great hammer!)

The built in brush fell out, how do I replace just the tip?

Built in brush? Just unscrew the end and stick it back in there.

I'm about to start pediatrics residency. This looks fantastic for adults, but do you think the head is too heavy to use on young children?

I have these, would agree, the head is a bit heavy but it has to do with how much force you swing it, too. I personally use my 2 fingers to tap on young adults/children.
