I purchased two of these subs by mistake, but I got two for the price of one. Anyway, I wired them in parallel down to 2ohms, 800rms in a ported box tuned to 35htz, I’m totally blown away with the depth and loudness of the baseline, took a week to break them in. Was a bit skeptical about Pioneer, but trust me, they do what it says on the tin & some.

Awesome bass, very tight, and allows very shallow box, highly recommended! Bought 2 for living room hooked up to an amp and put behind couch. Absolutely shakes the couch

They hit OK but they put out a lot of mechanical noise i have them up firing now going to switch to down firing box see if it helps

Love this sub. The shallow depth enables it to be mounted in unique locations. It's ability to be installed without an enclosure is also a plus for my installation. The pictures shown above are incorrect. This is a shallow-depth sub, see the pioneer website for accurate pictures.
