For serious yard work
If you have now or ever owned a garden cart, you know how awesome they are.If you have never used one, this is your review:Growing up, my Dad gave me lots of "character-building" exercises around the yard. These chores (such as weeding, brush clearing, irrigation building and repair, tree-topping, etc) fell under a teenager's definition of "sucky", but could have sucked a lot more without the use of a old school garden cart. Not a awkward, clumsy, tippy wheel-barrow, but a straight-up garden cart. It can haul a LOT of material, has a very low relative empty-weight, is much more stable than a wheelbarrow, and doubles as a decent sitting bench when you need a break. They're super durable and long-lived, too. The pack mule I used (or was I the pack mule? hmmmm) during my teenage years is over 40 years old with no signs of wearing out. There's few yard items as multi-purpose and labor-saving as these type of carts. That said, I have a house of my own now, and a pretty large yard. One of my first purchases after moving was to buy my first garden cart (the one listed here), and it has so far lived up to the legend. It's as well constructed as the 40 year old beast I know and love. The assembly instructions were simple and clear. Price and shipping weren't terrible (all things considered). All in all, if you live in a place with a yard anything larger than a postage stamp, I do nothing but recommend this cart. Now, if you'll excuse me: I have some more character-buildiing to do.

Great yard cart! Huge capacity! Super easy to pull! Expensive!
I'm a cheap son of a gun. So, shelling out the crazy dough to get this is out of character for me. I had one that my dad bought used for me and it was spectacular. That's the only reason I got this one. We really abused the old one. We left it in the rain and just were not nice to it. We are going to be nice to this one. We already treated the wood (especially exposed edge of the plywood sides) with an oil based wood preservative. Been hauling as much mulch as it can carry to the garden and flower beds. The slide out front panel is great for spreading/dumping. The tires are amazing. Tiny tires on wet soft ground doesn't work. These 26" tires are incredible! Tempted to say effortless to pull/push. Keep them off wet ground when storing to avoid rot. I will say there were two screws that went through three layers and I had to use a drill bit to work off some metal to make the bolt fit.

Not Impressed With Quality or Customer Service
Parcels arrived quickly, but the main under panel has multiple cracks in the plywood and also the side panels have cracks that concern me. The main bottom panel has multiple cracks that are 1/4" deep and go from one side to the other of the entire width where the bolts go into and look like they could eventually cause structural damage as I intend to haul a lot of heavy yard and garden items. The side panels have smaller cracks, but this was not a cheap purchase! I tried calling customer service multiple times and left several messages for "Kathy" who never answers. There is no online support either, so I'm not sure how they handle "orders, technical support, parts" in a timely manner if you can't get a response on weekdays.I was also hoping to get solid rubber wheels for over $400. but these are pnuematic and need to be filled with air. Should have ordered the semi-pnuematic. Who wants to fill up tires when busy with yard work? Assembly was a little tricky, as the bolts included vary in three lengths and some look similar so you have to sort them out or you end up using the wrong size and need to un-assemble it. Would be nice to have a piece of paper inserted with the bolts to list the quantity & size so you know quickly what you have instead of reading the assembly instructions (which are a little on the vague side.) Pre-drilled holes don't align that well, so you need to use an awl or sturdy screwdriver to align before inserting bolt.So far, I'm a bit disappointed in the quality of the shipped out of the box item and the customer service is Non Existent. Maybe the cheaper versions are made the same, but the savings would be considered as "You get what you pay for". I'm not feeling that happened here.

My first one only lasted 25 years
Time to order another cart - we wore the first one out.Our first one stayed mostly outside. I painted it twice and replaced the wood once. The first season I damaged the front a bit by dumping a load carelessly, but it just kept going. I gave a wheel a hard glancing blow once on a big tree branch, bending the spokes and the tire. I just bent them back close enough and kept on going. I used to wish my garage door was a bit wider so that I could roll the firewood in directly. And sometimes the the work took longer because the kids wanted a ride.I look for bargains like everyone else, and this cart isn't cheap. But with the reading I've done and the experiences I've had it still looks like the most bang for the buck to me, Besides - now I have a grand-daughter that needs a ride :o)

Practically still new after 18 years of heavy use
This cart has been a great investment. The property I purchased was an overgrown lot filled with plants, piles of dirt, and other accumulated items from the previous owner who had been a landscaper but didn’t take care of his own property. This cart moved it all without complaint — branches, firewood, leaves, prunings, road sand, garden soil, cinder blocks, bricks, sections of fence, etc. And of course it wasn’t flat but the pneumatic tires made going up hill just about as easy as going down. It has done it all for 18 years and is still going strong.I know this cart isn’t the cheapest but it is the best. I highly recommend it.
