Great portable lighting option
This is a great quality, ultra-portable continuous lighting option for the price! I knew that this light is going to be thin and portable when I ordered it, but I was still surprised at just how thin and light it is when I opened the box; it is literally about the size of a standard legal pad (without batteries).Although it's no match for an Aputure 120D/300D or other larger studio size lights in terms of brightness, it is plenty bright for most situations and pretty impressive for its size--even bright enough to use as a key-light in a pinch (without extra diffusion). The minimal one-knob control panel on the back also makes it a breeze to use. The remote is slightly more complicated than it needs to be, but I really don't see a need for it in most situations so it's no big deal for me.Power-wise, it comes with a standard power plug, and takes any 2 standard NPF batteries (not included). I have yet to run through the 2 NPF batteries I put in there since I got it (battery indicator still shows 2 bars!), and have gotten at least 3 hours of usage at varying brightness so far. Again, this makes it a great portable option.More importantly, the color rendering of the LED panel I received is very accurate to the temperature dial, and has no noticeable color cast, even when shooting in LOG. I was able to match it with my much more expensive Aputure lights with no problem at all, straight out of the box, at both tungsten and daylight settings. There is also no flickering, even at 180FPS+ frame rates. Also, there's no built-in fan and does not produce any noise, which makes it great for video shooting. One design change I wish Viltrox would make is to offer users the option to remove the built-in diffusion panel, which noticeably limits output as well as external diffusion options, but one again, this product was designed to serve as a quick all-in-one lighting source to be used without extra diffusion. And given I was completely aware of this before I purchased it, I see no need to deduct a star for this. With a light this size, thickness, weight and brightness, there's really no excuse to not keep in your camera bag or backpack at all times. Definitely great buy as long as you're not planning to use it as your primary key-light.

It is VERY bright even light!
This system is a good system. I like it and it is STURDY! It produces very powerful yet even light very easily. Set up is easy and fast. My only gripe is that it doesn't come with batteries or links to obtain batteries. I shoot on location usually about from an electrical outlet and I need the batteries. Other than that it is amazing!

You need the remote
The remote had been extremely useful, and the light is a great balance of lightweight yet durable enough to handle. Light quality is pretty decent for the price.

Disappointing Durability – Stopped Working After Minimal Use
The media could not be loaded. I purchased the Viltrox VL 200T panel with high expectations (and for the good feeback I read here), but unfortunately, it stopped working after only five months of extremely light use—roughly 5 hours total. Despite trying multiple power sources, including direct connections and Sony batteries, the panel refuses to turn on.This is incredibly frustrating, especially considering the price and the brand’s reputation. I expected better quality and reliability. For a product marketed as professional-grade, its short lifespan is unacceptable.I cannot recommend this item based on my experience. It might work well initially, but durability appears to be a significant issue.

Streamer; Uses for Productive Lighting
I have had this product for about 4 days now and I fell in love with it right from the beginning! It's super bright, really lightweight, and the remote functions amazing with it. Very impressed.Looking at purchasing another unit to brighten my streaming booth even more.If you purchase one, make sure to read the instructions carefully for connecting between remote and LED. My remote came not linked and took me a second to get it right.

Light is too bright at it's minimum setting!
This light has proven to be really good for lighting my face for stream. However, the minimum brightness I'd argue is TOO bright. If you're looking for a light to brighten up a subject in a camera frame, look for a light where the minimum brightness is not 20%. I made that mistake, and am paying for it. At the moment, I have the light set up pointing at a wall, and the residual light that bounces back at me is mostly what lights my face. It's working well for not being blasted by the lights intensity. The little remote it comes with is neat! Was a little confusing figuring out how to set the light with the remote, but eventually got it working by making sure it was on the correct channel + group. Really nice to be able to just turn the lights up or down without being physically behind them. However, when you turn the light "off" with the remote, it doesn't turn off the screen on the back of the panel. Which is unfortunate, cause the light caused by that screen makes me shut the light off and on manually with the switch as opposed to leaving it on and just using the control whenever I need it.I'm undecided if I want to return the product as of yet, but will update this review as I make more decisions.

Great little light for the money
This is a great little light. The way my office is situated, for most of the day when on video calls I looked like someone trying to hide their identity on one of those late night cop shows. This light does the trick without costing a fortune. The customer service is great as well. My original remote did not work and they quickly shipped me a replacement direct from China.

Good Start for Me
For a photographer like me who is just exploring lighting, this is a reasonable place to start. I got a Lume Cube mini-panel a while ago to use for online meeting lighting. This panel and athe 116 I also bought have all the flexibility of the Lume Cubes with a fraction of the cost. They are not as solidly made, but with some care they should provide good service. I like having the various mount options and the remote. Now to get to work!
