Half the weight of a normal dirt bike helmet.
2nd troy Lee helmet I have used. Love them and the quality. I love the light weight of this helmet. I ride My MTN bike and My dirt bike with this helmet. I have to say that this is half the weight of a normal dirt bike helmet that I have had before. Will not be going back to a Fox or bell helmet after using this.

Great protection but poor ventilation does not make it an every ride type of helmet.
Great helmet, feels comfortable and safe. I just had my worst crash ever (even slightly fractured my elbow despite having Fox elbow protection) and my head is completely fine, though to be fair I did not hit my head very hard in that crash. It is pretty bad to climb long distances though as you will get very hot and sweaty. When I use this helmet I often find sweat dropping onto my glasses every time I land a jump. It is all safety and no ventilation, but at this price I think that is fair. I do wish that I had bought a helmet that had better ventilation instead though, as I find I only use this for short rides, shuttle rides, or bike park days.

Great safe product
Excellent protective gear. Went over my handlebars landed on the side of my head and body. Body hurts but head was very safe and secure from this helmet! Would buy this all day for protection!

Light and looks fantastic
Looks and feels good. I disliked the strap design. So I returned it, and got a Fox helmet.

Great weight, great retention strap, just watch the glasses
Overall, I think the helmet is great. The padding is nice and tight, but not uncomfortable. The chin strap is more akin to what you would find on a motor cross or DOT motorcycle helmet. If you are not used to this retention method, it may take a bit to get used to, but it’s very intuitive. The weight on the neck is not to heavy either. Not weightless like some of their higher end helmets, or a half helmet, but it won’t strain your neck after a day of riding. If you wear glasses for vision, or like to wear riding glasses, the padding will compress the arms of the glasses into your head. It may loosen over time, but until then, you will have an extra tight fit with them. Luckily, the helmet works perfectly with goggles. Overall, I give the helmet 5 stars, as it has plenty of EPS foam to protect my head, as well and good styling, weight, and chin strap that encourages you to wear it. The best safety gear is the ones you wear.

Awesome helmet
The 1st time the product was delivered damaged, without the Troy Lee packaging or paperwork for warranty! Just a helmet and bag in a Prime box. The second time was perfect! I have my official Troy Lee packaging and helmet that's in perfect condition. I can't wait to see how she feels on the trails! Thanks for the prompt delivery!

LIGHT & COMFORTABLE
For bike park use, riding mostly blue flow trails. I'm 41 and trying to get to work the next day so not trying any 20 ft jumps out steep tech, and lightness/ventilation/comfort were my top concerns. Hopefully I won't put it to the test but confident for what I do it'll be strong enough to protect my head from serious injury. Doesn't have MIPS so if your riding black trails I'd recommend spending the extra $50-100. I had to buy all my gear (knee/elbow pads, pants, etc) so had to stay within a reasonable budget. Also, I read the reviews so I understood it might be a little snug around your cheeks, but I have a narrower jaw line so it's a comfortable fit. It's SO LIGHT and really comfortable, wish it didn't spend 4 weeks researching other helmets cause this really exceeded expectations. Going to Trestle in a week and with Covid I didn't want to rent a helmet.
