easy to install
The product was a necessity because the previous one was destroyed by a power surge. (Lesson: have surge protectors for freezers & refrigerators.) Delivery took a while but was sooner than the date indicated at purchase. It was very easy to install, essentially just taking out the old one and pushing in the new one. Note: It arrived very cold so we waited 24 hours to allow it to get to room temperature before installing.

Doesn't last long
Ordered the part February 2018. Stopped working June 2020. Also pulled off the VOID sticker. It Works!
Didn't know the freezer wasn't working until everything thawed and drained on the floor. I was ready to get rid of it, but my husband googled possible issues. We ordered this, with fingers crossed. The part changed out easily, and now the freezer is working great!
