Rough Country Front Sway Bar Disconnects for 1997-2006 Wrangler TJ | 2.5" - 1129

Product is great and seems to be high quality. The instructions were a little hard to follow with the included small black-and-white pictures but was able to figure it out. Was able to lift the front sway bar enough to run 33’s with minimal rubbing.

Great quality and easy installation. Replaced a set (of a different brand) that had about 80k and 10yrs on them. Reasonable price too.

Threads are horrible. be careful not to cross thread! I got it to start but it was in question for a second. Everything else looks/fits good. Does what its meant too

Easily fixed the angle of my sway bar with my"2 inch lift " the instructions aren't as clear as I would like but if you have some mechanical experience and regular hand tools even novice weekend mechanics can install this sway bar link kit the set up also comes with a bracket so when you disconnect they attach to the bracket with supplied pin . I am happy with the purchase and would recommend it . Also I contacted rough country because I wasn't sure which set up to purchase and they answered my inquiry promptly great customer service . 👍

The lower (axel pins) were not included in the kit.

I went to purchase new OEM parts and found out they were $75... well so were these and they have are easier to remove and install.. plus have the disconnect feature! Unfortunately I could not use the bracket due to having a Blue Ox Tow Bar system for pulling the TJ behind our RV. But if we didn't have that they would of fit perfectly! A great solid well made product that is easy to install, looks great, and does it's job!

4 star because, when I got ready to install the kit the tie rod ends were not in the box, Rough Country made it right by over nighting them, but I needed them right then and now, so I went to my local John Deere dealer and he matched up ends I had to drill the connecting blocks out slightly no more then 5 thousands of inch and got a much better look, not to mention the 2 John Deere tie rod ends cost more then the kit. I will say every time I deal with Rough Country I’m very satisfied

They were very easy to install however because of the design they don't hold up well and come lose over time. If you do purchase them, make sure you check them frequently as they do come apart at all connection points with just normal driving. In discussing this with the customer representative I can say they were defensive about their product and didn't want to discuss issues or solution.
