Q: is it easy to convert m3 to litres? thanks

Every 1 m3 is 1000 lrs of water. display shows m3 in black then in red shows decimal's less than 1 m3. thus 0.001 is 1 ltr so can measure down to 1 ltr with ease you could count the turns on the paddle to get less that 1 ltr resolution but for most people it is the m3 that are being counted. ( its just lilke the old electric meters )

Q: Can hoselock outlet fitting, be used on both tap outlets or are the threads different?

Yes. I fitted the hardier metal Hozelock fittings - I think they are labelled 'Pro' - as the plastic ones can break. You will see from the picture that the tap comes with a Hozelock type fitting on the lower outlet which has the same thread so no problem. Mine has been regularly used for some months now and it is a dream to turn each just through 90 degrees instead of winding open a stiff tap. I have my Karcher automatic Hosereel permanently connected to the lower (back) outlet and then use the upper (front) out let to fill buckets, watering cans etc. Incidentally I would stick with Hozelock connectors as I found that those which look like Hozelock (such as the one on the tap and that canme with my Karcher) don't work as well. They are the same type of system but they leak or come off easily under pressure so make sure ALL the fittings are of the same brand.

Q: Is this for hot and cold water outdoors?

This is a garden water tap. It can divert in two directions. It works very well in cold water. I do not know if it is compatible with hot water.

Q: does this have an internal check valve?

it hasn't got check valve. Tap will not dripping as it can hold up to 15bar. Never had complaints. Regards
