Additional work required but well worth it!
I bought this roof rack for my Bronco. It’s pretty decent and fits the footprint of the Bronco roof nice. One small area of the expanded metal wasn’t spot welded down but no big, it’s getting covered with tools and junk anyway. The lights are nice but some of the lenses popped or fell out easily during assembly. I’ll super glue them on the corners. I’d hate to try and locate a replacement lense. I’m sure they’re not available. I had to cut down the outer rings on the “Hella” stickers so they weren’t hanging over the edge of the light covers but it’s just some excess white and the stickers blend in well with the white caps. They look better cut down anyway. The light caps themselves are a pain in the . . to put on. I mean, it’s a really bad fit. Waaay too tight. Snug is good but I’m going to have to sand the inside rings a little to make them easily removable. I almost broke one of the lights off trying to snap a cover on. There are 2 separate sets of screws for mounting the lights, button heads and flat heads. The button heads are the ones that worked and looked good. The flat heads are lame and shouldn’t have even be included. There weren’t enough screws provided to install all of the lights if you want to add leds to the back. There was an odd number mix of screw quantities provided and they didn’t add up between the front and back lights. I didn’t look close enough I suppose at the picture in the ad or read the title lol (not the sellers fault) but it doesn’t come with the back 2 leds. Bummer but it’s not that big of a deal because I did read that the back lights tend to snap off during rolls. I came across that comment in several reviews online, not just the Amazon reviews. The back left tab for my light was bent up a bit but was easily straightened. It wasn’t the packaging as the seller did an excellent job with bubble wrap and also used a large padded envelope. A 1.9 Traxxas Trx-4 spare fits perfect in the rack. You can force fit a 2.2 but it doesn’t look right. Also sort of a bummer because another reviewer said a 2.2 Would fit and that’s the Reason I chose this specific rack. I’ll probably install a longer screw and try to hide the ring under the spare tire. Aside from all of those issues, I gave this a 5 star review because it IS a nice roof rack. The scale is correct and after tuning everything up and wiring the lights, I’ll definitely be happy with it. This is RC modeling so I never expect too much from manufacturers. In general, I always plan on modifying whatever RC stuff I buy because then it turns out a little nicer than just bolting on accessories. I hope this review helps someone else make their decision as this definitely isn’t a cheap purchase. I don’t regret spending the money on it though. So, off to look at winches and bumpers now lol! Happy crawling folks!!Update!! One last thing, the cap screw heads that hold the rack down are too big to go through the top rack slots to get them through and they’re too tall to get in sideways from the bottom. I chucked some button heads up in a drill and turned the edges down with a file to get them to clear then added washers. Sometimes I think nobody even cares to see if a product will work before selling it. In this case it’s really too bad because they were so close but they got my money anyway. .

Heavyweight, but solid.
Wow this is heavy, but built well. I used longer screws to add a small washer and oring I have added two strips of aluminum between front and back to take the strain off the body. It looks really good, but it will add significant weight. Lights work fine. Not going to use the rear lights.

Good build quality and great scale looks at a decent price, but a little weighty
This 1/10 scale roof rack has good build quality and good attention to detail. The included light housings are nice but the included LEDs, while functional, aren’t really bright enough to be useful (and no, not because I have the light covers on.) Can actually carry a spare wheel and comes with the hardware to secure it.I really like how this rack looks on my TRX4, but I really wish this was made out of plastic or aluminum. It’s steel, so it’s really heavy! Makes the truck very top heavy which is not ideal if you’re doing any competitive rock crawling. At least it’s nice and strong, If You put wide enough washers between the mounting hardware it’d probably be stronger than the pins holding the body on.

Top heavy but worth it!
This roof rack is perfect for larger body vehicles. I was very worried about the top-heavyness and for good reason, it rolls much easier on side slopes. BUT.. it makes the body roll as you drive over bumps and whatnot look so much more realistic. It's a whole new learning curve after you put this thing on. Your vehicle will handle totally different but after a while I think the realism aspect of it made it more fun for me than before. Casual crawling I love it, I probably wouldn't use it for a competition or anything like that unless again you're just doing it for fun.Assembly was pretty straight forward and normal, but now to the part everybody is complaining about...the lights. Why are you complaining? If you've got the covers on they are not going to be bright. If you want them to be bright just don't put the covers on it. They're about as bright as any Wal-Mart grade average flashlight, which is enough for me.Durability is absolutely great because it's metal. The roll bar that goes over the light housings does a very good job at protecting them. I took it out today for about 2 1/2 hours and bashed it hard, believe me some people would call it reckless. I got it into some water and never had any trouble but I did my best to keep them relatively dry so I can't say they're water resistant. I wouldn't submerge them.Huge recommendation!! Unplug the lights from the receiver before you attempt anything that may knock your body off. I learned that the hard way today and pulled the wires out of the back of the plug so that'll take extra work at least, maybe all new bulbs.Overall I definitely recommend if you don't mind a challenge in exchange for the extra realism.

Looks great, but very heavy and you need to fill it
I found that I had to put a bunch of stuff up there when using one of those cargo nets that you buy on here. Otherwise everything falls out..If you put the spare tire on top, it is extremely top-heavy, and will rollover almost instantly at any turn. I had to take that off and just use real light weight 3-D printed items. But it’s still extremely heavy. The lights work good however, the rear lights were broken on delivery. And one of the covers was missing for the rear lights. Also, it’s not bad, but it’s certainly not the best. If I could do it again, I would probably go a different route.

Worked great on my XCS10-2 r gladiator
Worked great on my XCS10-2 r gladiator. Allows access to the rear body pins. Does make the truck top heavy with a wheel on it but looks great. The lights have a tone of wires, hard to conceal if you don’t wanna drill a ton of holes in the body. But great value
