I bought these for my 4-year-old son with long hair. They look great on him and I love how The Natives represent his Native ancestry. My husband uses them in his hair too (very curly) and he loves them. It took me awhile to get used to a flat hair tie, but now I’m used to it and I like them better than the rounded ones or the flimsy ribbon hair ties. These feel more durable and long lasting than other hair ties. The color hasn’t faded. And even when they are stretched for a long period of time, they seem to always regain their shape. Yeah, they’re a little pricey for hair ties, but these are so cool looking and so long lasting that I think they’re worth the price and I will definitely be ordering more again. It's kind of like we have returned to the age of infomercials, but you hit on some really good products sometimes. These are everything they say they are, and as someone who burns through normal Walgreens hairband weekly, these are tough and keep their stretch. I got the Viking-era style design, love them.

Good quality for the most part. They stretch out fairly quick. I have thick curly hair, so they may not stretch so bad if your hair isn’t thick. I get maybe 3 weeks before they have stretched too far to hold my hair comfortably. Nobody likes adjusting or redoing your bun because your hair is getting pulled in one or two spots. The first 3 weeks of use are great for me. I really like the hair tie. After that I have to throw it away and use a new one. Which is actually a little less time than some cheaper ones I’ve used. Im 1 year in to tying my locs back regularly. I've tried a couple other hair bands but I really like these. They will get worn but ... of course. I get about 3 months use out of a batch of 16 (using 2 a day) and I love the look, the strength, and the price. I teach at an elementary school and periodically have students come to me looking for ...support... so I've grown to just keeping 2 extras on my wrist that I can give away. Now I just wear them because they look good.

First hair tie I have used that doesn't have a clump of hair attached to it when I take it off. If there is any hair when I remove it, it's only one or two strands. Does a great job of holding hair in place.

Idea is there but execution is not. Couple problems and why I won’t be buying any more. Too expensive for an item you lose half the time you use it. Too tight. Needscto be a little more expandable to not crush the hair on second loop. Too difficult or should I say time consuming to get them to lay flat after putting them on.

I’m buying more. So far these are the best hair ties I have found. Guys do yourself a favor spend the 13.00 they don’t slip no pull and hold amazing on the motorcycle. I don’t carry extra one now. I just put one in and go. All day comfort and easy out when it’s time to let ur hair down. Wet or dry no issues at all

These hair ties are fun, but they aren't great for super thick hair. I have a very difficult time getting this to double around a bun or pony tail. The colors are vibrant and fun, however. They haven't frayed or overstretched which is nice. Edit: A little over a year later and I'm still using these, however I don't recommend them to most folks with thick hair. The designs are only fun for a few days, and then they stretch out and they never look good again. I can go about 3-5 weeks with one elastic and then have to replace it. A friend bought me one of every pack a while back, so I'm slowing working through them. Once they get stretched out, they often fray on the edges. The silky/sleek material definitely help when trying to get it out of my hair, though. Overall, if you don't have super thick hair-these should work great for you! Good luck in your hair endeavors.
