This works great for my purposes! I wanted to enclose my balcony while still allowing some sunlight. As you can see, this bamboo fencing is pretty see-through, but it still gives me (personally) a sense of privacy. (But your mileage may vary, I see why other reviews said it wasn’t good for privacy at all.) that said, I think if you doubled the layers you’d be fine. It also looks nice to me aesthetically where it covers the stucco. Also i cut it into two parts easily and just tied off each side with the string that holds the fence together. (Just fyi tho i think the string ties would do poorly in the rain. My balcony is covered so that’s not a concern of mine, but if you intend to use this outdoors I’m not so sure this would hold up for you over the years. I think I ordered the 6’x6’ roll. I overestimated how tall I wanted it to be, so I decided to cut off a maybe 8 or so inches off the top. You can see the rolls of it in my third photo. I was going to throw it away but I actually had some fun using the leftover pieces of bamboo to build out my plant’s pseudo-trellis. You can probably see the extra pieces if you squint at the tomato cage. Anyway, this fencing is great for partial privacy (single layer) and good vibes imo, but if you intend to use it outside where it could get rained on, I’d give it a second thought. And if you want full privacy, definitely plan to double up.

This is a great product that worked superably in my case by hiding a brand new fence that I could see out my window. Because I have neighbors, I could not put the nice side facing me so at least now I can cover it up and it was easy to apply

This by far was one of the easiest things I've ever put up. Nice natural bamboo color provides just the right amount of added privacy (although, as the other comments state, this is not totally opaque blocking). The provided zip ties hold the bamboo in place along my balcony railing - quite sturdy and stable. Highly recommend.

It’s a good size privacy fence. It’s still kinda see through but helped a looot. We were able to put it up in less than 15 minutes with a staple gun so installation was pretty easy.

What a great background for a garden area! Hides the brush and enhances the evergreen bushes. Wonderful improvement and easy to attach it to fence posts.

Excellent bamboo fence. Not 100% opaque, and won’t block 100% of airflow, but definitely provides a level of privacy and lowers the wind coming through. Unfortunately, our neighbor lets her dog poop in her back patio, which is adjacent two hours, and hopefully this will block the dog poop smell from coming through as much into our patio. You will definitely need something to attach it to. It comes with small white zip ties. I used black zip ties that I already had that were slightly larger and worked a little better but the white ones would work fine.

Tied together by flimsy string not wire. Dont recommend will fall apart and cant cut it
