Great size for cupholders and grip (enhanced by louvered grip which makes is as slip proof as reasonably expected. Top seals nicely. I only hand wash this one so cannot comment on dishwasher experience - with the grip and top seal working perfectly, why risk high heat side effects?. Thickness nice but will not survive a drop on tile (this is my second one - the first being knocked off counter by accident onto ceramic tile floor. At least the top survived without damage so now i have a backup top should I ever need it. Looks and feels great and overall fully satisfied with the purchase. Note that heat retention and volume are not a strength realistically holds about 10 oz. unless you want to fill close to rim. Heat retention is about the same as any ceramic mug with a little extra due to lid. But it was purchased to fit perfectly into one of those does-it-all reclining chairs, and provide low spill or drop rates, and from those perspectives its scores 10/10. It is a perfect fit into the smaller bottom section, making it secure at any reclining position. Not a drop has come out.

I bought this as a gift for my mom, and she loves it. She especially likes the built in coaster it has and that both the coaster and hand grip are removeable. I noticed that you probably don't want to take the middle grip off too much, due to the fact that it looks like it could get stretched out. I bought her the brown one, and the color is true to what you see.

I love drinking my coffee out of a ceramic mug, but really wanted something that I could 1) use in the car (no handle, no splash), and 2) keep coffee hot moderately longer than a regular open top mug. This does fit the bill. I use it in the house, on the patio, and in the car. Doesn't keep the coffee hot for "hours", but it's perfect for my not-to-far work commute or for drinking coffee on the patio in the morning. Really like this ceramic cup. I heat my water in the morning and pour into the cup with a tea bad. Seep the bag and hit the road. Keeps my hot tea HOT. Win for my drive to work.

I have purchased many brands and can say these are sturdier than others of this size. It has thicker walls and I like the silicone coaster bottom and sides. It was priced competitively so I bought 2. The only issue I have with it is I wish it was at least 16 ozs to hold more coffee. I do not use it for travel, only for home use.

Boy do I wish I'd seen the other single-star reviews before purchasing this poorly made mug. Just like other reviewers who made the same mistake, my mug cracked on its own (with normal use -- no drops or accidents). Cracked in multiple places all the way through, and it's no unusable. I looked into a refund or replacement, but this falls under Amazon's standard 30-day policy. DON'T BUY THIS MUG -- IT'S NOT WORTH THE $ AFTER JUST 4 MONTHS OF NORMAL USE! 8-(

First off, let me tell ya’ll about the positive sides of this cup:• Value for money (the rest of the mugs in this category cost $19-20 on average);• Stylish ceramic cup looking literally like a medium sized paper cup, but reusable and eco friendly.There are also downsides:• I was disappointed with the color of the silicone sleeve and bottom of the cup. As you may see on the photo, the real color is dull, dark and unattractive and doesn’t look like on the product photo (kraft paper color);• The lid is made of VERY cheap plastic and it is leaking indeed, which degrades the whole idea of a convenient eco friendly product.I will keep this cup. It is functional, I will see if I can customize it (with a different sleeve and lid) to make it more beautiful.

Perfect mug for everyday use. Fits perfectly in my car and in my espresso machine. Coffea or tea tastes so much better from a ceramic cup. I just love it!

Absolutely terrible!! This is the second UDMG I purchased from Amazon. Both are cracked and are not usable. The last one fell over on the bench it was sitting on, and simply cracked. Terrible, and I can't get a refund.

For the same quantity that I am used to, this mug is a compromise. It's does fit snugly in the cup holder. I assume almost 25% pricier than it should be.

It's nicely constructed and the silicon details are nice. However the double wall isn't great at keeping drink hot, it's the lid that helps if anything. It's also kind of pricey for what you get. Don't really recommend.

The travel mug was what I expected. Wished it came in 14oz. size. The low rating is due to the fact it was not packed well and it had cracked so I couldn't use it.
