I wanted to try home steam sauna but was not prepared risk substantial amount of money. This was the lowest price for the cheap sauna with remote and I decided to risk it, worst case I pay return shipping. Must I say it topped my expectations?It arrived bit over a week ago, weekend sooner than promised. We enjoyed it every evening since it arrived, sometimes two times a day. To test I set it up in the living room over few beach towels and piece of film under. Turns out perfect location as I can watch my favorite shows while in there. It has 9 power levels and can heat tent up to 125-130F. I prefer 110-118F, upon reaching that temp I go down to level 7 and it maintains the temperature reasonably well. I can not sit there above 118F and I am not new to a dry sauna. It drains 850W at max power setting. We use small towels around the neck to keep skin from touching the tent. Remote works well if pointed at the boiler.Size wise it is perfect for my wife who is 5'2" but I have to push the chair further back and my knees push against front wall if I keep them straight. Not a biggie. I am bit over 5'9"I measured EM levels, as long as the tent is 2 ft or more away from the tent, EM levels essentially zero even at max power.After use we would let it cool with towel over the head opening, then remove everything from inside, dry it out with the towel and leave it open. Disconnect power and dry water from the boiler. This way it stays dry and does not increase house humidity more than few percentage points.After drying out it can be put away in a compact bag.The cons for this unit are:1. The frame pieces dont seem to match properly and where they have nice rounded shape mine is somewhat square. Somewhat hart to pull fabric over it.2. To enter sauna you need to disconnect front bar which is not always easy to do especially from my wife. You might leave it out but then it feels too flimsy.3. boiler does not have UL rating. I dont know what will happen if you turn it on without water, if there is any protection. I am ok with that as I am always around but if I were to get distracted and it is set to 60 min at max power there will be a problem. For that reason I always add water to max level - about 2 quarts (L). At max power 2 Q of water will fully boil out in about 80 min, max timer setting is 60 min so that should cover it.4. The frame is flimzy.These cons are within my expectations at that price and I ditch one star for them. If this was $200+ unit lack of UL rating would have been 3 starts or less.

Postal wise; Arrived on time, beautifully packaged, clear/easy set up & my story concerning this Amazon product is still amazing me. Just when U think U have tried everything: along comes a blessing like this & will restore your faith in locating something that can help a womans need to feel better, find lost belief & ease stress among other things. Ok, so the first two times I used this, it got pretty warm, but not at all hot (the steam wasn't even hot coming out of the steam box). It finally started reaching a good temperature after the third use. There is also an issue with the leg holes.Leg holes, you say? Yes, those are NOT arm holes, but they are in fact LEG holes. I'm not kidding. The instruction booklet literally has a picture of someone inside, and then a second person on the outside with their legs in the holes to get a good steam on their shins. While I got a good laugh out of this, the reality is, those leg holes need to be completely closed, or else the steam will escape, and it won't get hot enough inside the tent. I had to cinche them closed, and then wrapped the excess string around it and tied it completely shut.I have Lyme, and bought this as part of my detox regimen. I wanted an infrared sauna, but the real ones are a bit too expensive for me, and the cheap ones catch fire! I feel much safer with the technology in this basic steam sauna, and the price is great for the use I'm getting out of it.My skin is looking GREAT, and I can tell I'm sweating a lot of stuff out of my pores. With my Lyme, though, I just have to be careful how long I stay in. While I may only feel mildly uncomfortable, if I stay too long, the moment I get out and the air hits my body, I feel like I might pass out. So those with health conditions, definitely be careful! 20 minutes is good if you can make it that long; I think that's my sweet spot.I can fold it in half to move it from one room to another, but I can't manage to fold it back up to its "travel" size (I'm worried about getting too rough with it and breaking it). But it is very easy to set up, only takes a few minutes. I don't have a lot of space in my home, so it's convenient to be able to put it up and take it down so easily.I hope I can get a lot of use out of this thing, as I plan to use it almost every day for at least a few months.The company responded to my message about it not heating up in the beginning very quickly.
