Perfect!!
Excellent! Great photos, even better than our phone camera. Sound is clear, Meta demands are clear and precise. Style is sleek and sexy and very comfortable! Happy husband, so worth the price!

Fun gadget for cycling, excellent camera and speakers
This glasses gave me so much joy, to take pictures or videos during cycling. Something that I can never do, as its considered unsafe. All I need to do is to say it in words. When cycling solo, music is your best buddy. Quality is surprisingly good. Music will drain the battery fast. You'll run out of battery within 4 hours. Lens is a bit darker, and I'm looking forward to buy the low light lens, when its available. Meta AI is lacking collection (per cycling) photos management. You can only group photos when you enable auto capture. Without it, you can't group them together, making photo management hard.

Nice Shades
Bought these for my son for Christmas and he absolutely loves them. They play music, record video and takes pictures and much more! A little pricier than I worked like, but what isn’t these days?

The best golf eyewear
The Oakley Meta Vanguard is next-level! 😎 I love the sleek black design with Prizm™ 24K lenses—they’re super clear and vibrant. The Meta AI features and audio/photo/video compatibility make it so tech-forward and fun to use. Stylish, high-tech, and totally worth it!

The video is like someone punched you in the face
Got these to replace my Instant Go 3 on my hat for USPSA competitions, wearing a headphone for listening to music and obviously for the new ai features. I look forward for 4 things. Good video camera, talk to ai, listen to music and the convenience. But, I found that out of the 4 things, the one thing I look forward the most is a good video camera and it is not up to par. Here are the cons: 1. Video camera is not up to par vs Go 3, it jitters for no reason during recording like someone punches you in the face. There are no way to turn off stabilization and it jumps all over the place. 2. The recoding sounds are horrible, it keeps going in and out on loud sounds and there are no way to turn them off 3. Not enough video camera settings, no landscape only portrait, no setting to turn off stabilization 4. Cannot listen to music while recording 5. Definitely heavier than regular Oakley M-Frames, that is to be expected 6. The case should have a tracker build in, if you lose it, you don't even know it I used it heavily for the last 2 weeks since it released and I have tried every possible way to fix these issues. Amazon won't let me post my uspsa video, so you can either take my word for it or check out my ig at hyasuma_pew The Pros: 1) Easy to set up 2) Upload directly to your phone gallery 3) Sound is amazing for both music and phone calls 4) Makes recording/image and sharing things a breeze 5) Talking to Meta AI is pretty cool Overall, I like the product and wanted to give a 5 star but with the video jitter issue, I can't justify all the pro outweighing this specific issue. I am planning on giving a bit more time to see if the jitter can be fixed, if not, I might end up returning it and look for alternatives like Bleeq.

Really like them, but missing a feature I bought them for
I like the Oakley Meta Vanguard overall. For running and MTB (mountain bike), I already wear sunglasses, use an action cam, and headphones, so having all of that in one thing actually makes sense. They look great and feel like classic Oakley. I’ve always liked the bigger, sporty style, so that part was an easy win. The only downside for me is the Strava integration. One of the main reasons I bought them was for that, and it doesn’t show up in my app at all. Not sure if it’s a rollout thing, location-related, or just a bug. Still happy with them, just wish that feature actually worked.

Love These Glasses! Great Video, Great Audio, and So Much Fun to Use
I’ve been using the META × Oakley Vanguard glasses for a few weeks now, and they’ve completely changed how I capture and enjoy my bike rides. The video and photo quality are sharp and vibrant in good lighting, and the centered camera gives you a true point-of-view perspective, exactly how you see the road or trail. Voice commands work surprisingly well, even while riding. Up to about 25 mph, it picks up my voice perfectly. At higher speeds, I just raise my voice a little, and it still responds. It’s amazing to be able to record hands-free, especially on climbs or descents where stopping isn’t an option. Everything downloads straight into your phone instantly, no cables, no extra steps. You can even overlay your ride stats (power, speed, heart rate) directly onto your photos, which is such a cool touch. A picture might be worth a thousand words, but one with your stats is worth a thousand watts! The speakers are clear for both music and directions, and here’s a feature I didn’t expect: my brother and I often ride together, and these glasses make it easy for us to talk while riding. It’s great for chatting, checking directions, or just sharing the moment without stopping or fumbling for a phone. They’re comfortable, bright, and block wind really well. I’ve used them on chilly days they fogged a little on one cold climb, but otherwise, the visibility is perfect. Battery life is around four hours, which is plenty for most rides. I’d love to see a smaller charging case or just a simple USB-C cable for charging on the go. As for the AI features, they work fine through the app, though the glasses themselves don’t have “true” built-in intelligence, and that’s okay. Everything else more than makes up for it. Overall, these glasses are fantastic. They’re not just a gadget; they’ve become part of how I ride and stay connected. Highly recommend them for anyone who loves cycling, adventure, or just wants an easy way to capture moments hands-free.

Wow, where to start? These are so fantastic and offer so many options, that it would be hard to put them all in this review, so here are what I think would be the most important points: First and most important for me is comfort. I get headaches from most glasses, so pressure on the temples is a big no for me. These are snug on the temples, without giving me immediate headaches. This is awesome, since I'll be wearing them for longer periods of time on bike rides and hikes. I do feel relief after taking them off, especially if I wear them more than 15-30mins, but there is no pain and no headache while wearing them. I really like the changeable nose pads, there is one size that fits me well and doesn't leave marks on my skin, while keeping them stable on me. They weigh a bit more than regular sunglasses, buy not too much so thay they cause pain. These glasses will stay put in many rough activities, where shaking is involved (biking, running) and they don't budge even when bending repeateadly or turning the head quickly at weird angles. This is an awesome feature, since one doesn't have to worry about adjusting them or losing them if they fall off. The downside of such a great fit is that they can get hot, and I'm a person that sweats easily. These do end up foggy and moist on the inside with intense activity. There are also instances where sweat dripped over the camera and recording or photos were blurred. Look-wise, they are cool and futuristic. They fit different face shapes well. They work amazingly as sunglasses (like all Oakley products) and the wrap around facilitates dead angle visibility and covers everything completely and perfectly. Performance-wise, the main draw-back is the battery life. If you go overboard with recording, translating, listening to music and using the AI in general, these can be drained in as little as 1-2 hrs, so you need to be wary about the battery and use it with care. The case does charge them quickly, it takes about half an hour to get to 50% About charging, there sadly isn't another option than the case, so if you forget it or don't have space for it, yoy won't be able to use them when they lose charge. I really wish they offered a usb port directly in the glasses, hopefully on the next models. Capability-wise, these are so complete ! After connecting to Meta AI, you see the full range of options these offer. You can record videos at different quality settings up to 3k, it has 3 different stabilization levels and the videos are post processed when transfered to your device. The quality of the videos is really great, especially outdoors with good lighting. To record, you have a button on the side of the glasses that you short press for photos and long press for videos, or you can use the AI and tell it to record. The length of the videos is preset, with 1, 3 or 5 minutes (set in the app). I don't like the feature that leaves the front light blinking continuously when recording, there is no way to disable it. The sound quality of the speakers is amazing! They sound professional, with adequate bass and clear mids and trebles. The sound volume /play and pause can be controlled through the side bar on the glasses. Just beware that they're speakers and others will hear whatever is playing thorough them when they are close to you. These can connect to most music apps and the AI does a good job at finding the song you want through voice commands. You can listen to music at most normal speeds on a bike, for example, while still hearing everything well. They work really well for calls, the microphone is excellent and wind doesn't interfere with conversations. With regards to wind, this can be troublesome for the AI. When it's strong like it was today, the AI has trouble pickig up commands. Same goes for riding a bike at fast speeds I assume, since it has the same effect. These glasses can't record audio only, which is a bit of a downer for me. I keep audio memories when my kids are saying funny things or having cute conversations and I don't necessarily need the video, especially if we're in the car driving or walking around in the forest. This is really something I wish they could offer and hopefully it will be added with upgrades. The translation feature works fairly well when tested for Spanish. It will not catch slang or region-specific expressions, but will translate basic conversations with success, so it can be used when travelling and needing directions and for other simple things, not for extensive and complicated conversations though. The delay for the translation is about 2 seconds for me. The memory card is 32gb and more than enough for filming a couple of hours of videos (or more if not in 3k). All data is transfered onto your phone when these are connected to wifi and placed in the charging box, or it can be transfered manually, thus the space on the card is freed. I haven't been able to test the fitness function because these are only compatible with Garmin devices. I don't own one and didn't plan on buying one anytime soon. Overall, they're well-made and offer an array of functions for athletic and casual users. The connectivity is good and so are durability & comfort. Battery life can be improved. They can't be worn over glasses and there is currently no prescription lens available for this model. The price is fair, given the quality and capabilities and I'm expecting improvements in function with future firmware upgrades.

Centered 12 MP ultra-wide camera (122° field of view) for hands-free capture. Video: can record in 3K, plus options like slow motion and hyperlapse. The overall quality of picture and Video is good. Not great but good. Audio: 2 open-ear speakers that sound great. Battery: ~9 hours typical use + up to 36 extra hours with the charging case. I found this to be true, maybe a bit less on heavy use. Meta AI: i am still getting used and learning how to using AI features. It does work well and can answer most questions you ask. Lens: these lenses are one of clearest glasses I've seen through. The clarity is outstanding. The wrap-around frame, three-point fit, grippy temple tips they stay put well even during intense movement. The only thing i dislike is the size. The glasses a big. I'd say ive got a normal size head, the glasses look big on my face. I look weird wearing them. John -
